hmm, the firerate seems slow. the damage for its firerate is Very Good In My Opinion, But Perhaps It Would Be More Gatling Like If It Had Twice The Firerate And Half The Damage

Finally someone has made it, a hand held gatling gun :D although my idea was just a handle for the small ship gatling gun, this one looks much better. Although there are other gatling guns I would love to have a handle for, look up the ISM bulldog

sure, because sektan is known for balanced mods

his stairs cost more then his small grid railgun, wich makes 5x5x5 holes in heavy armor

This needs to be about 2x faster in my opinion. It is a gatling gun and should chew threw ammo.

i hate to be the stick but can you make the barrels spin and only fire from same spot (botum center barrel fo example). like the real one

Sektan ... you really need to do more of those. They fit your suits so well i just love it. :D
Btw. your old Weapons pack still does damage, but the bullet holes won't show. :/

Now we just need the DC-17m(From SW Republic Commando) rifle or something resembling it's design >.<. I could totally see the current battle rifle being shrunk down or something into different weapon platforms.

Perhaps (if you can) a hend held wepon that fires explosive projectiles (an rpg) or like a lock on one to. Just throwing ideas out there, nice job on the mod btw.

the gun still has mass you would need to push forward
more mass = more inertia
more inertia means harder to move and stop

There is a bug when this mod is loaded, small ship gatling guns won't load ammo.

I have an idea for you since i haven't a clue about space engineers modding.

a player held weapon that can fire a decoy to distract turrets like the standard decoy.
it could even literally be something simple like a special glove as the weapon and hand-sized decoys as the ammo. just like in Ratchet & Clank the various glove styled throwing weapons.

When fired it creates a decoy that will fly fowards and can attract turret attention.
since its player fired that would mean its rather small and destoryed in a single bullet because of its size.

I have yet to try out the player held gattling gun....but if i keep just outside a turrets range while doing a figure of eight and firing i'd say it would work ten-fold better then the standard rifles.

MrEvan312 - if used in space the weight won't matter much, and if you are a roleplay type person the weight would help reduce the puishback from recoil when it is firing.

I hate to be "that" guy, but this thing, to me, looks awful. Looks like it weighs 300 pounds, bulky, and not much more effective than the original rifles Sektan made. Easily topped in looks and functionality by the Reaper Miniguns from the Engineers Defense Kit

im actually very surprised it took this long for a gat to be made for the player, i get that there's a major ' oOoooOo Shiney!" factor biasing modders attention twds ships instead of player use items just suppressed is all- im saying this before trying it out , great mod i haven't come across anything you've made that wasn't great or did what it was intended to-i doubt my presumption will change after trying it out

they should add stuff like this to base game. They need to get more involved with modders in the community, besides that Excelent work. This will help my empire greatley.
