Could you give your link on how to unlock factions for yourself?

Please somebody make a ‘nerfed Dwarfs’ or a ‘defensive Dwarfs’ mod.

As a fan of the lore, I really hate them having a good chance of stomping all over the Greenskins. They are supposed to be a doomed and dwindling race, albeit with very strong defenses.

A -25% income and growth penalty ought to do the trick.

Or some way to make them less aggressive, like the Wood Elves. Pls.

There are guides & tutorials on how to unlock factions, if you want "only dwarfs" and are not willing to use his new mods, then you can make the mod yourself.

If you are so desperate for something like that, either take a look at my "Basic" Faction Unlocker that does much less than my main ones or look at my guide on how to unlock factions yourself, which isn't particulary hard.

MadJanet or any other modder who happens across this, I hope you'll consider releasing a (final?) update for this mod, because it's unique among faction unlockers for doing exactly what it says on the tin. There's a real demand for a dwarf faction unlocker that just does *that* : makes all dwarven factions independently playable, with whatever LL you feel like using, without totally reworking the faction to the mod creator's vision of "lore-friendly." Kraka Drak + Grombrindal is the one I see referenced most often (and the one I'd love to try myself), but far from the only one. Cataph and Crynsos have done impressive work, but personally I'd like to play the game I bought, not the games they're making, and a simple, no-frills faction unlocker would be perfect.

Agreed. Crynsos mods sucks. Just want a normal faction unlocker. Please update.

lord level up fine if you start up a game, save, restart the game without the mod
or maybe it's because I have a mod that affects lords levelling, two points per level
I just know that I turned this mod off after starting a campaign, and my lord levelled up just fine

Salut ! Moddeur sur d'autres jeux par le passé, j'hésite à essayer sur warhammer un petit peu aussi. Je pense qu'il pourrait être sympa d'aller un peu plus loin que déverouiller les nains : rajouter des seigneurs légendaires lore friendly, leurs objets (je connais pas trop à part karak hirn, karak azul et les deux qui existent déjà) et ajouter peut être les seigneurs non-légendaires runelord et engineer lord (pas qu'en héros, comme le chaos ou les orques qui ont plusieurs types de seigneurs !) Je viens de télécharger les outils du workshop mais je n'en suis pas encore familier, et ton mod pourrait être un bon point de départ, qu'ne dis tu ? ça t'intéresse ?

@DynG.xtc_de Levelling lords will probably work again once (and if) it's updated. Levelling worked perfectly fine before the Beastmen DLC ^_^

NOTE: if you use this mod your commanders are not able to lvl.

I noticed that bug also, man I am in love playing Karak Izor, but its not worth it if my lords dont get any xp gain.

Hey buddy, thanks for the mod, but I found a bug about the experiance gain of the army generals. They dont get any experiance, so you cant level them up. If you have the time, update it pls, i would be glad to use this mod again :)

I am amazed someone hasn't already taken it upon him or her to continue this. It's VERY popular, and easily one the most used mods, faction-wise. I'm not a modder myself, but I'm sure someone will eventually fix this. It's obviously abandoned. My Karak Norn campaign is on a standstill since the last time this was updated xD something tells me I'll need a restart on that one.

@MadJonat was wondering if you could make a faction unlocker for the beastsmen hordes and a unlocker for and eye for an eye ?

If you could tell my what tabels to edit for factions to be unlocked i could make an updated version of your mods, you dont need to teach me anything just tell me the tabels, thanks if you do.

On top of not gaining XP for your lords, the Beastmen faction doesn't even show up with it installed.

You can no longer gain exp with your lords after the release of the beastmen. This mod is offically dead :( I really wish someone would take over and fix it!

I got the same chaos invasion crash :( Other than that, lovin the extra challenge!
