Turns out this actually does work. However from my experience, only Ruins that are made directly by the Vampire Counts themselves will have the corruption effect. If made by any other faction, including Vampire Rebels, there will be no corruption.

@SherabTod : Eh, that's what I initially set out to do. I couldn't find out how to do it, so I conceded and made this as a compromise. I might look into doing it properly at some point though, yes.

could you make a mod that creates "vampiric ruins"?
similar to chaos in the way that it only spawns when left behind by the undead

That's very odd. I'll have to ask around then as to why that would be happening. Opening up the mod in PFM there is nothing included besides the building_effects_junction_tables, which I can't remove for obvious reasons as that's where I make the mod do what it does. Most peculiar...

Actually it happens only with your chaos rift mod active and no other, including the one here. I guess the combined version had the same method of implementation as Ruins spread Vampire Corruption, which made it not affect the localization.

@NoOneSpecial : If I had to take a wild guess, it would be the following:
My combined version was horrendously incompatible with other mods. It would simply block other mods from changing a great many tables (thanks to BOB for that); what I can imagine being the case, is my broken version blocking some other mod from affecting the localization files. So, it being broken probably stopped some other mod from being stupid.

Now I wouldn't quite advertize that brokenness as a feature and think it would be better if you took it up with the guilty mod actually changing the localization. Try to isolate it by toggling on/off the mods.

It does not happen with only my mod active, does it?

Can I ask for you to upload the combined version again? I play the localized game and for some reason the combined version didn't change the description of all army and region effects back to english like this version does.

All compatibility issues have been resolved. Can now be used together with my other corruption mods; as a result, the mods combining the chaos and vampire effects have been removed.

Currently only changes Lore of Vampires and Lore of Undeath; it is planned to change all Lores of Magic eventually. And please leave me some feedback!

some people use the mod to settle anywhere it would be cool if we can spread alot of vampire corruption from settling also.
