To all other people:
Extinction core and our other mods take some time and tries to work, please keep trying until you can logon. This is NOT due to a bad connection, it is a problem within ARK itself so please be patient!
We are heavy on the mods but this logging in problem will be only in the beginning.
Once you established a connection there should be little to no more problems.
A slow connection or computer doesn't help either so I hope you keep trying because I think you will find it's worth the wait.
Especially Extinction Core is a big problem due to the size of the download.
Please let us know if you experience some other problems and we'll try to help you!

Yay that would be cool. I have little living room next to a pool of water and I placed a table near a chair for fishing and I really like using your gramophone next to me while fishing. But sometimes when i want to change music I mistakenly destroy the gramophone when i want to pick up and have to build it again. :P

@Psycho: It would be more immersive to set up interaction for the discs, maybe at a later date when I update this.

I like to use this mod for fishing i wonder if instead of making different blocks you could only build the discs and place them each time you want a different tune. Aslo the gramophones are a little too big :3 not complaining though

definatly! i would just send a file with my re-mod of it to my friends using it so there goes reason 3 :)

@Major i had that idea originally but didnt try it due to 3 reasons: 1, theres a checksum (i believe) that will attempt to see the mismatch. 2, it doesnt use standard .ogg files, they are compiled in the editor and 3, noone but you would be able to hear it.

However, that being said - I didnt actually try it! theres a teeny tiny chance it could actually work, so if you do want to give it a go I'd love to hear the results! :)

even if i just rename the new file ot the originals name? ik it would be weird having classical 1 play like frosty the snowman but still ? ive done this for OGG files in minecraft for their discs and it works

Love the mod but is there a reason every song has its own player? I personally would love to have just 1 record player and switch to the song I need.

Music is something thats lacking in some ways with ARK, what we really need is the ability to extend the ADK with C++, then there could be broadcasting radio mods so we could stream youtube music into the game...

I've actually done that before already, just rather than via an in game item, we just used a Steam voice call and I played the song along with my microphone feed as we went on a raiding spree.. However, it wasn't the original 1812 Overture. Instead, I chose a modified version that had a more consistent and slightly faster pace and an extended finale, that way it would better suit the intensity of a raid battle in ARK.
