hey i was wondering if i could do some changes to this mod? i want to make some new units and make them balanced for this kind of changes (also thinking of re-balancing some of the units using your design philosophy)

Is there any way to make battles eternal? I mean, if someone flees, i cannot see them fighting like in a film, and we are here not to pretend to play battles, we are here to watch a film not to play any ga... Oh wait...

I don't get it. Why is this SFO Mod Team advertisement in the description? This mod isn't even compatible with SFO, is it? I mean, it works with SFO, but since it changes unit tables, SFO added units won't be on par with proper combat units... WHAT AM I MISSING HERE?

Front line infantry fight for much longer which is awesome but missile damage seems disproportionately high now. I don't think the slight nerf to reload speed is enough to bring them in line with the much slower melee combat. Much too easy to cause routes by focus firing exposed units.

Routing is fine, but having it occur as freequently as it does is is such a bad decision.

Morale and routing has been a part of Total War games since the beginning.

Plus, if you read up on Warhammer lore, the Norscan's ran away when defeated lots of time. Most races did.

The tabletop rules also had psychology for retreats as well.

I loved everything but the messed up morale system. Some units should not retreat when the going gets tough! You stay and die for your lord!

No, it's stupid. Spartans did not retreat from battle, they stay and fight. Norsca are supposed to be battle hardened barbarians. They look like little wimps when they run away. Running away from battle is for cowards!

Does this mod prevent usints from retreating? The one thing I hate about TOTAL WAR games is retreating.. We have battle hardened veterans who retreat when the going gets tough, instead of fighting until they die..

Depends on the custom unit mods, if they use base game values for melee and unit speed, they will be fully balanced (as they will simply use values from my mod), others will have slightly faster and more damage (around 12-15% more depending on a weapon) dealing units. Basic combat rules like morale, fatigue will be still from my mod.

Does not matter but I always play on ultra. Anyway stuff like magic or tower damage does not scale with unit size but that was always the case.
