Why on earth would you put this house where it is? Every damn time I teleport to the house, or even just walk out side there is a bear. Don't get me wrong, I like the house very much, I just don't want to come outside to teleport and I have to fight off a bear every time.

So this DOESN'T need any DLC, right? If this lets me display dragon claws (screenshot of the display stands?) in vanilla skyrim, you're one of the best modders.
arathiaes 15 Sep, 2016 @ 1:01pm
Best house I have found in Skyrim
Pixel Kittey 28 Jun, 2015 @ 7:27am
where is the mask and claw displays?
phthalocreed 29 Jan, 2015 @ 8:10am
Lol, it took me a while to figure out XD
phthalocreed 29 Jan, 2015 @ 8:07am
For those who do not wish to disable walls, there is a wardrobe in the basement with a false back. I'll leave the rest to u :3
Rhae'sor 27 Dec, 2014 @ 3:55am
Keep in mind, this hasn't been updated in over two years..

For those looking for the smelter, go into your basement and face the blank wall next to the chests. Open console and click on the wall then type 'disable' without quotes, viola there's your smelter
khazan99 24 Jan, 2014 @ 3:10pm
Great house: really good corner bookshelves for plenty of books, the basement area is a good size without being excessive, I like the loft for the bedroom area too. Thanks!!
Vox Scorpus 15 Oct, 2013 @ 10:26pm
Great house! Just what I was looking for - a small house with lots of storage. Thanks!
saunders.bryan 26 Aug, 2013 @ 4:00am

I loved the Fallout New Vegas home and I'm in love with this one. Especially the decorations that progresses your playthrough and the hidden room in the hidden room. ;-) Thank you for this mod, it makes Skyrim so much more fun to play.
Cap'n Cook 16 Jul, 2013 @ 12:01pm
Needs a smelter. but other than that, its the best mod ever.
ubern00b 13 May, 2013 @ 3:36pm
Could you add a forge, smelter, workbench and all that smithing stuff too?
Then it'd be truly perfect and I'd definitely subscribe. :)
Dart 31 Dec, 2012 @ 8:36am
When will this be updated?
TheStench 4 Nov, 2012 @ 9:16pm
As many have noted, you have made some fantastic places to stay in Bethesda games. I love the defensive stuff for the shelter in Fallout 3. I love this house. Why hasn't Bethesda hired you?
2 requests, if you are still working on it: 1) I absolutely loved the weapon wall in Fallout New Vegas. Sorted items for display, not into boxes. Is that possible in Skyrim? 2) I can't put skulls on shelves? :(
Lonely Ronin 13 Oct, 2012 @ 2:33pm
It had a smelter in the basment in an earlier version, dont know why its been removed.
mostlydave 8 Oct, 2012 @ 2:11pm
Love the house, but could you add a smelter? I think it's the only thing you're missing!
ludmila.erharte 17 Aug, 2012 @ 4:51am
Thank you this is my fauvorite hous, Thanks for a fantastic mod !!!!!!!!!
The Static Prince 29 Jul, 2012 @ 11:51pm
Aside from a random collision by the chests in the armory, this mod is fantastic!
ComradeStarman 23 Jul, 2012 @ 7:46pm
Amazing mod, Also love your mods from fallout 3 and NV!
arathiaes 21 Jul, 2012 @ 4:12pm
I've checked out a number of house mods. In my opinion your mod is the best one I've seen in any of the Elder Scroll Games. Thanks for a fantastic mod..
MaJiKTeK 17 Jul, 2012 @ 2:26pm
i'm a big fan of your mod in Fallout 3 / New Vegas. I'm very happy to see you are doing the same for Skyrim. Thanks!
Jigsaw717 11 Jul, 2012 @ 10:52pm

Evan Williams 27 Jun, 2012 @ 9:02am
Amazing MOD!! The only problem i have is with the weapon racks. I cant seem to get my weapon back after i mount or add it to the rack. Otherwise Really great house.
Dart 26 Jun, 2012 @ 4:14pm
The chests for sorting are not showing up. Anyone have a fix for that?
TALOS 26 Jun, 2012 @ 5:04am
@Danthegeek

Can you please update your change log, to let us know what you added/changed?
00 23 Jun, 2012 @ 4:38am
Ridiculous that this doesn't have more views/subs. You've made the best houses in every Bethesda game.

Are you planning to contuinously expand on this particular house mod, or are you going to do other(s) as well? My only minor complaint is with the house base that you chose everything is packed together rather... tightly. It's certainly convenient, but is a bit crowded.

Either way, kudos for the great mod that isn't retardedly out of place and has a nice location.
Dark_Beauty 18 Jun, 2012 @ 1:46pm
and please make something für the dragonpriest mask and the dragon claw`s
Dark_Beauty 18 Jun, 2012 @ 9:35am

Dark_Beauty 17 Jun, 2012 @ 5:45pm
i love it in fallout 3. i love it in fallout new vegas. and i love it in skyrim.
you are making the best home/hideout ever on every game
Jesus Saves 17 Jun, 2012 @ 12:32pm
About the upcoming option to build up the house, is it safe to use when it's released or does it require to empty containers?
GunSlinger 8 Jun, 2012 @ 6:52pm
We are all looking forward to it.
danthegeek  [author] 8 Jun, 2012 @ 10:58am
The next version will bo out soon. Im working on making the place look much less run down. Im also adding the option to build up the house much like you do in vanilla houses. There will be a few more decorations and sorting containers too.
GunSlinger 4 Jun, 2012 @ 1:45pm
Next Release?
Elunaris 29 May, 2012 @ 8:33am
Hi there. The new Updates are great, just like the rest of it! Thanks for picking up the idea of a wheather shelter/stable for the horse! Only thing with the stable is, that you can't dismount in it, as the roof seems to be too narrow/low. Apart from that...it's perfect. I love it! Thank you!
TrooperIsh 28 May, 2012 @ 5:05pm
BTW, Totally forgot to thank Dan for all the effort and Ingenuity put into his fantastic mods! The hideouts more than doubled the playtime and enjoyment for both FO3 and NV, and Skyrim feels lees sneaky and more homely to have a place to call... My home!
THANKS DAN!
-and all who helped him... :-)
TrooperIsh 28 May, 2012 @ 4:58pm
Hi Isdamurf, the "console" is like a hidden menu used by game developers to test game funtions usually accessed by the "tilda" key (most keyboards it's the (~) or (`) key to the left of the 1 along the numericals at the top)
///spoilers!!!/// if you check out http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Item_Codes_%28Skyrim%29 it has a prety easy to understand instructions, and then check out http://www.gamerscomm.net/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-forums/4268-skyrim-item-codes.html a user - Kramo - posted the codes for all the claws in dec 2011 (not tested) Big shout out to Kramo for the effort ///

(Praise is due to them; I'm just ripping off the research they have already done...)
isdasmurf 27 May, 2012 @ 2:56pm
Sorry, fogot to add. Old gaming geezer in lots of pain.
isdasmurf 27 May, 2012 @ 2:50pm
Thanks to ( "it's jesus+) for at least replying , TOP MAN !!! . But no I don't realise this. As I tried to put accross in my previous requests for help, I dont know my arris from my elbow when it comes to mods or programming. What the hell is the console ?. I've played computer games all my life (55 years) but I need the smart generation to get me out of the sh*t. I need it explained in words of one syllable ( or less preferrably) . Thanks again, even if you don't get back it's nice to know someone is listening.
its_yellow_koala 27 May, 2012 @ 1:54am
Hi must say i love the mod its awsome but the flower pot downstairs is flying in the air. ^^
00 26 May, 2012 @ 8:28am
@isdasmurf

you realize you can just add the claws back to your inventory using the console, right?
isdasmurf 23 May, 2012 @ 9:24am
Realise your a busy man, and I don't want to be a pain in the s(*?)itting place, but I really would appreciate some advice. If it's bad news that's fine, at least I can dry my tears and think ahead, but I'd hate to restart the game again after having done so once already ((not game related but an O/S re-install due to Windows Update introducing a virus)) when I dont need to. I dont mind having to retrieve the missing items from wherever they are now, but I do need to know if this is even possible. Thanks again for a great mod, Just wish I'd known that Steam Update would bo**ocks it up.
isdasmurf 22 May, 2012 @ 7:03am
Great mod, but had a real problem when it updated automatically before I had chance to clear bedroom. Dont mind so much about losing my pension fund of jewelry etc. but I also lost all of my dragonclaws. Now I'm worried that I may need them on future quests, plus I liked having them. Bit of a dimbwit when it comes to this sort of problem. Unfortunately I dont have a backup as I only do one before new mods or upgrades and I didn't do this. Help or advice PLEASE !!! (preferably as if you were talking to a two year old )
Jimbob 18 May, 2012 @ 7:58am
Brill player home. Love the way you can put your own stuff on the shelves. The nice little decorations are cool too, like the map on the wall. Total thumbs up!
Van5177 17 May, 2012 @ 5:44am
Nice Danthegeek you really put alot of thought into this great for us starting to play on the PC. You can't do this on the PS3!! Awesome!
Elunaris 14 May, 2012 @ 4:09am
Just explored the house and... I cannot believe how amazing this is! Beautifull location, interior is cozy and functional at the same time, very well thought of, and I just love the opportunity to freely decorate the shelves! The whine-rack is marvellous! Great work!

Apart from all the (very well deserved) praise... you might like to know, that there seem to be one or two "common" problems.
1. Mannequins in incorrect postures (or slightly displaced) from time to time or sometimes "disappearing" when approached.
2. Followers won't go into the house.

Last not least, a thought that crossed my mind while exploring the location was, that a small stable or weather-shelter for the horse on the backside of the house would be nice.

I really hope, this mod won't conflict with the other house mods (only very view for completely different locations/things)... as I'd love to keep this perfect place for my new character. Absolutely love it!

Hey, we enjoyed the mod so we featured it in a weekly mods series - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hbqve-c98H4 - feel free to add it to the picture/video box above. :)
