@smjjames, I don't think so and even if it does I don't recommend using it since it replaces a large file containing many events that are updated with just about every patch. If I don't keep the mod updated, using the mod may undo parts of game patches.

I don't see myself updating the mod since the direction the game is developing I find the need for it to be increasingly small and increasingly harmful to gameplay.

If you'd like to use the mod yourself, I recommend looking at the mod files and making the adjustment yourself! The neutral first contact events are near the bottom of the file.

Taw, does this work in 1.3+leviathans?

There is a mod for that, Nediak. It's called Remove Spaceborne Aliens.

@Nediak: Gotcha. You could post on the official Stellaris user mods forum [forum.paradoxplaza.com], or the StellarisMods subreddit , there could be a mod that does it or someone who wants to do it.

deletes the neutral aliens they're so annoying and provide nothing to the game

@Nediak: Deletes what? The neutral aliens? The projects this mod autocompletes? The projects this mod doesn't touch?

there should be a mod that deletes them

@spincrus: Glad it helps!

Yes, yes, yes. In any grand strategy or 4x game, I tend to restart the map very frequently to find the most suitable starting position for myself. It's annoying to have to do this every single time I start a new game.
