I cannot get this map to load. The game freezes when it's around 75% loaded, every time at the exact same time. I have to kill it in task manager. I tried doing this with zero mods to validate if it's a conflict and it still would not load.

This map causes a huge memory leak when I tried to play via the 64bit beta version (saw 24GB ram usage and climbing and never loaded the map)

Since there are a lot of mods out there, I don't mod the maps myself anymore. The latest map that I published yesterday needs therefore a mod that increases popcap, also one that has camera unzoom is nice. There are a few mods out there that has both .. increased popcap + camera unzoom. They can be used safely on all my maps also on this map here. An example

Hi, this mod may have caused it as this map is also a modded map. Try playing without this mod and see what this gives. I can always upload a non modded version.

Hi I played a half an hour without problems. Did you use a mod ? Camera unzoom mods and mods that changes popcap should be fine though.

When I played this map I got a fatal scar error 4 minutes into the match, and the attacking team had just breached the line of tanktraps.

Awesome! I have tried myself to do a remake/conversion of this map but I could never get it to work properly, this is awesome :)
I remember old LAN parties back in the day when we played this vs the best of AI and it took us like 6 hours to fully destroy the Axis base XD

I found the time for an update. I made it so that vehicles can now also enter the left and right side of the map because Allied Ai got stuck there sooner or later. I also made the opening in the barbed wire a bit wider also to prevent that the allied ai wil get stuck there at the start of the game.

Sorry for the 7 people who downloaded the unmodded map a few minutes ago. I forgot to add the modded file before packing the map for the next update with this timeTEXAS name on it. These 7 need to redownload the map if they want the 200 popcap + increased manpower income :p

You are right. I wouldn't be happy either. I always put the name from the original mapmaker on the file. Now the name wolves69 can be seen when the map is loading. I'll change it into your name in next update.

This map is in fact most challenge in comp stomps while played as allies unless you play with and vs human players. I am working now on an other version of this map with the allies on the best defended side and the axis will start from the beach.

Well, I find that the allies still needs more punch in comp stomp games. I gave them priests but the ai looses them mostly within 10 minutes. It starts to become a bit challenging (but not much though) when the axis ai is set to standard and the allies ai as expert. So the allies have lots of stationery weapons like artillery at guns, bofors, mortar pits, and some mobile stuff and still they are to weak for challenging games. Any ideas to make them better ? I gave them already double the infantry strength from the start. On the other hand, playing as allies vs axis ai is challenging

Of course the mines work. It was late when I updated the map I was tired. Player 5 was not in the game when I tried the map and player 5 is linked to the mines. To make it the allies a bit easier to get of the beach soon you can disable the mineson the beach by running a 3v3 game and leaving player 5 out of the game. Setting the alleis as expert and axis ai high or standard will make it even more challenging.

Well, I finaly could open the world builder. The map is modded now with increased mp income and a popcap of 200. I removed 1 British land matras becasue the ai can't use them I left 1 on the map for human players who don't have the Bristish commander who like to try out this unit. The removed landmatras is replaced by the American movable light howitzer a unit which the ai uses very well.

2 priests added for the allies from the start. In the hands of human players these 2 priests can be devestating when kept safe at the background. The Ais will lose them soon enough because they send them forward, but can be used for the allies to get of the beach. The map is still not modded because after latest update from relic I can not open the worldbuilder anymore, so a mod is still needed for increased popcap. The map will be updated with the modded version as soon as the worldbuilder problem is fixed.

I have a problem guys, since the game updated I am not able anymore to open the worldbuilder. Before the update I added the 2 priests for the allies. Maybe i'll update the map with that latest file and update later again with the then modded popcap and manpower increased version of this map when the worldbuilder is fixed.

Hi, yes I can increase the popcap to at least 200 and with that also an increase of the manpower income. I had a gamer who had problems with that after starting a saved game when using a mod. The popcap would jump back to default. But I can't do for every map 2 versions. As this map is absolutely not comfortably playable with popcaps lower then 200 I will mod this map as you ask in next update. I next update I probably will give the allies 2 priests from the start. This will help them to break out. The ai however isn't that good with priests. It loses them quickly that's why I am still doubting if I not better use an other solution.

You are welcome. Allies are still a bit to weak and manpower income should be higher. A mod that increases man power + pop cap is ideal. I'll make allies stronger in next update

I think that I need to give the allies a bit more firepower or the AI hardly ever will be able to break out. To get of the beach. Human players will manage vs axis AI but the allie AI needs more punch. Expect an update later.

Map for long games around 2+ hours with expert AIs. Some things may still change after more playtesting. On mid computers set graphic settings not to high or it will start to choke sooner or later.
