Nice ideas, even if the difficulty is not very high.

Fair enough. The decision to balance clarity and experience is a tough one, I am no exception. Now that I think about it, I did have a "that looks cool" moment when walking through the portal for the first time.

Well, it was there, but then I had the idea of leading the player right to it by placing it right under a portalable surface. I imagine there's an interesting moment when the player places a portal up there and looks through the other one.

Good update, I love the use of glass to allow more examination. Still tough to understand what is going on in the little hallway. Is there any downside to putting the hole in the middle of the first room instead of off to the side? It could be made bigger and you could use more glass. All around love this puzzle. PS thank you for checking out mine (http://goo.gl/Uovul) earlier and leaving a great review.

It didn't occur to me to use the stairs and I did not need Nerdbots climbing technique either.
The button/lightbridge area looks messy and cramped.
My solution was straightforward and uninspired. Don't know whether your intended solution with the stairs has more to offer, though.

That's a nice puzzle, not too complicated bu still require some thought.

Well done, the best puzzles reuse the same elements over and over. Very clever. I also like any puzzle with things at an angle.

If you can find a way to make the hole with the light bridges easier to understand it might add some clarity to the puzzle without affecting difficulty. Maybe make the hole go the length of the raised hallway? Or put it in the middle of the main room so it can be examined.

Also, love the title of your puzzle, I found it while searching for my own titled Twins: http://goo.gl/Uovul

Fine puzzle. First I had problems, but i figured it out rather fast. Keep making these. Good job.

Nice update! Closed up the route I had used before :)

There were stairs? I just used lightbridge...
Instantiation  [author] 15 May, 2012 @ 9:00am
Oh, yeah, I see what you mean. I made the glass taller. See if you can find a use for the stairs!
evan online 14 May, 2012 @ 8:03pm
You can use light bridges as "ladders" of sorts. just jump and replace your portal and you'll be higher. you can keep doing that until you're at the height necessary to get over the glass.

Sorta cheaty but I had an easier time doing this than timing my jump from the stairs to the bridge properly.

Stairs are not pointless. What are you two (nerdbot and bert263) even doing? Now I'm curious.
evan online 14 May, 2012 @ 7:30pm
Oh, I liked that puzzle! That was neat! The stairs were pointless but I thought it was a nice, simple puzzle.
Gerald 13 May, 2012 @ 11:34am
This was fun. However, it is solvable without the use of the timed stairs, if you change the orientation of the bridge in mid-air during a jump.

Good map. I'm trying to get the word out about a couple of my own maps as well. Would you try them please?:

I didn't figure it out until after I'd already successfully done it without using the light bridge; was fun nonetheless, but I could feel that I'd probably broken it so you might want to check out your portal-gun sightlines... :)
Deign 11 May, 2012 @ 9:40am
Very well made, I enjoyed that!

andyb was kind enough to record his playthrough of the first version of this map. And that's awesome. So I changed a few things (in particular, his stunt with the light bridge was cool but unintended).
