btw I'm not an English native speaker, so just say what you want rather than lots of comparison, so that I can easily figure out your opinion.
Vanilla is Ornery + War Saddle = 66. 66x3=198. An increase of even 1 dmg changes break points for 200 and 400 hp mobs by 1 hit. An increase of 2 ties it with the hardest hitting melee weapon in the game. An increase of 18 makes it out dmg the best melee in game by 16. An increase of 8.5 is better by 6.5.
I'm still Talking about the upper limits. Best vs Best. Ornery is the best combat beef.
But nevermind that if you're intent on balancing around default beef which does 16 less dmg. I don't get it, but that's just how it is some time.

in better mod 34 dmg takes ornery beefalo to 84 dmg with is a fair bit better than dark sword. I'd suggest just adding 1-2 dmg. Making an ornery beefalo 3 shot 200 hp mobs instead of 4. Which is definately an improvement.
Another suggestion would be to be able to configure the increase damage of the saddles.
80 damage from a war saddle is a bit too strong and I was able to tank and kite the Deerclops to death without taking much damage or healing. I do like the increase in speed though.
The option could be like this:
Saddle Damage: Default > 50
War Saddle Damage: Default > 68 > 80
Glossamer Saddle Damage: Default > 50
The same thing could be done for the speed of the saddles.
or if it's too much to code you can just make it so "Crazy mode" doesn't increase the war saddle damage to 80 and it just stays 68 like "Better mode".
The more options to configure the better, and it'll have you covered from doing many updates in the future, since people can configure the saddles just how they like. :) Great work though!
