This no longer seems to work in 2.0.

I want to thank you for a mod that has been in my default list since May 2016.

Is the functionality the mod uses gone or is there a plan to update it eventually? If not are there any alternatives that you guys might know about?

i have a mod that hits the defines.txt how o you ajust it so it doesnt conflict

Finally fixed. This mod works with 1.5.1 and later and will no longer conflict with other mods.

@Immy: Would have been nice if you had helped me out . . .

@Gerishnakov: This mod still works on its own in 1.5.1. What you're most likely experiecing is what I was afraid would happen -- file conflicts. Since the defines file is a .txt, this means that any mods that modify the same file will conflict, and the load order determines which mod will end up working. If they don't change it back to .lua I don't know of any way to avoid file conflicts. (If someone else knows how to avoid file conflicts, please tell me.)

@Firathmagi: No changes were made to the file from 1.5 to 1.5.1.

did they change the textfile back to a lua for 1.5.1 beta or make some other change of that nature?

How so? Have they changed the way text files work? Is the entire text file no longer needed for mods?

I'll just use my own from here on out I think.
Appreciate you uploading this but in my opinion your fix is... akin to using a nuclear bomb to light a match. All the best.

This mod has been un-busted! As for what happened -- the game's defines.lua file has been switched to a defines.txt file, which basically breaks every mod that modified the defines.

Couple of things to note.

1) Paradox have some defines that were not being parsed from mods in 1.5.0. The one that controls the edge scrolling seems to be one of those.
2) The code structure has changed for mods.

Good news is that I was able to create my own working version of this mod in the 1.5.1 beta. That beta should roll out to live early next week so you won't have to wait long for the author here to update. Just a few days most likely. :)

Saw this mod updated today so I enabled it with banks/utopia, doesn't seem to be working.

Thank you for this! I hope they adjust mod tools so something like this wouldn't disable achievments

Well you can't get achievements without playing on Ironman mode, AFAIK.

no, the console is disabled in Ironman mode..

They probably do. You're playing on Ironman, right?

Do Console commands disable Credits? I use them and my Chievo's are disabled.. There's one for Colonizing a planet, I don't have it :)
Anyways I love your Mod, it's annoying to maybe try clicking something along the screen edge and it Pans the camera instead... Screen-Edge Panning should be in the Gameplay Options but it's not, so Thank you!
