too bad codes lost but this mod was NOT what I was looking for witch is a convayor belt that moves things from one station to another ie from an Industrial forge to a fabricator, vault, or tek fab. Not a really long ugly storage box.

Guys CODE to this mod is now lost. No more updates will be done. It may keep working with future Ark updates, but consider this the FINAL version!

I still use this as I find the teleporting items thing to much of cheat, but I do wish this could hold like 600 items instead of 300, maybe an INI configurable on it?

Static. The belt came out a year before the first 'teleport' scripts were out. Some people like the realism of not teleporting items, some want the ease. But this is final version, so I won't be adding any more functions to this. Thanks!

So it is like an extra long storage chest.
- Does it actively collect dropped resources?
- Will it display item stacks on conveyor belt, or is the belt's appearance static and unchanging?

hi just want to say when i click on the see al your mods thing and i click on the other 2 that are there it says "The item is either marked as hidden or you do not have permission to view it." can you please unhide them i really want to check them out

Adding adjustable length would be awesome. However if you lookclosely at bridge mod it actually grows the bridge in all dimensions so as not to distort the skin on the mesh. ading length only by that method can screw up the look of the object. I am familiar with UE4 but not as much with the dev kit so I don't know if there is a logical work around.

Another thing that would be cool however is able to turn off or set the brightness of the lights on the belt. One of my tribe mates renamed one of my conveyors "Annoyingly bright runway lights".

All together however, really awesome mod, Kudos for the concept, I enjoy not having to do the throw and pick up method of crafting.:steamfacepalm:

That is a good idea guys, but not something I can do in a couple hours... would need to spend some time figuring out how they did it... and unfortunately busy in RL for now. I'll put that on my to do list :) for when I have more free time.

Works great, maybe add an option to extend the conveyor belt.
If you have the "bridge" mod installed you will know what I mean. In the radial menu you can extend or retrackt it.
Should finish this mod imo.

Gotcha, I guess what I was visualizing is something similar to the ME system in the AE minecraft mod, where its a network storage system. So like a computer that could attach to the conveyor belt, the belt then moves through a networked system like you would expect in UPS or Fedex. Gives me some interesting possibilities to ponder for a mod, something uniquely different from the top sort mods.

The teleportation of items between boxes is possible - other mods do it - but I like the simplicity of this.. I am working on adding one that goes up as well as sideways as a 'loading belt' so you can unload dinos and pick stuff up on second floor

No issues on TheCenter. Love the conveyor belt, I am working on getting spun up on modding myself, so I am not sure if it is possible, but the ability to stack or extend the conveyor belt would be cool or for it to act a receiver, meaning it would have access to items stored in other conveyor belts. Might be outta the scope of your intentions but just a thought.

Hmm.. I'm using it in the center right now. You should be able to place on either foundation or on the ground - just has to be flat. Try a few other places to see if it's a flat issue. If it won't place at all try uninstalling and reinstalling. If nothing works please leave a list of other mods installed in the Bugs Discussion.

Anyone else having issues on the center?

While animation would look cool I admit, it gives no advantage to the functionality, and of course is not even lifelike as you would need to move boxes back and forth to look remotely real. So short answer is no planns to add it any time soon. Would rather work on making more mods - check out my others!

Is there any animation? If not, that would be a really neat idea. Maybe a big, red , flashing button on a yellow and black striped panel!. I might try this. I discussed with my wife how great of a mod this is , just by reading about it. Animaton , little whitegeneric boxes moving along rollers would be enough. Thanks, I might try this this afternoon.

I love the conveyor belt idea as well!! When I saw this my imagination went wild with base ideas!! Like to use your conveyor belt to run materials up to the storage area from the dino pen!

That conveyor belt is a great idea. I think it would be really cool if you could build a connection system, where you have multiple conveyor belts, maybe in different shapes, that all share the same inventory... Maybe in the future...
