@[Pvt] D. Cardenas [PTF] Some sligltly good news, im working on another ww2 bootcamp map. However depending how i feel about it at it current state can very on the time from now and realese. I have 3 or 4 screenshots on my profile if you would like to check it out. I thought it would be better to make a completely new map rather than to rehash the old one. I might barrow some assets though like the grenade toss , obsticale course and etc.

Honestly man, I would love if you came back and revised this or made a new one if your spare time whenever you felt like you wanted to. The skybox is glitchy and thats the only problem with the map. Other then that, me and a few guys had planned to run a server with this map

@Line I moved onto other projects. Right now college is going on and I'm focusing on that's. I map occasionally and right now I'm doing this spaceship type map. I would go in and fix the map but my vtf of the original map got corrupted and I'm no longer able to update he map. I don't mind people making edits to the map and that's how it goes to live on. If I were to do a new ww2 base map it would be through an increase in demand, me wanting to do a revision of the map to optimize it and make it look better, or make a completely new WW2 base map being that I have assets from various ww2 source mods and games

Only problem is the skybox as of late, I understand you said you were updating it but i just wanted to know if that project is still going on or did you move on to different concerns?

Sky is kinda glitchy but the map is still playable.

The whole time I was doing the obstacle course I was thinking, "GET YOUR FATASS OVER THE OBSTACLE GOMER PYLE!"

bug report: If not listed in FastDL and also has NOT been downloaded by other players, yet playing on a server running with this map: It WILL make them crash after 15 minutes.

hey, this isnt a necessidy, but could like add a sun? the map just looks really grim without it, and maybe some ambients or like rollcall music from the escapists? again not trying to sound needy and im just trying to help out but the map just feels dull.

Hi, ive noticed a major problem with the skybox after the recent update - looking into it at certain angles makes your game basically "look into the void".

I'd like a more modern. I already like this one! (Besides the lag cause my PC is a level 94 spud)

Also there will be no more restrictions on multiplayer use for I feel it was selfish of me to do so.

Just for a take of hands how many of you guys would like to see this as a more modern base for present day Military Rp or a overhual In general. Rightnow im working on porting over some Day of Defeat Source rp maps that I found. Updates on the present bootcamp I can fix. RP_Bootcamp_V3 would be the modern version with better optimization by seperating large portions of the map in its own seperate worlds like the Simulation Arena or the airfeild so you dont have planes fall on you. Im going for a modern forrest like or a desert type. What do you guys think?

This map needs a better skybox.
I could make one, if you want to. I would have to edit it ofc. I could share it with you, so you can update the map later on.

@LEVIOSAHHH As of right now no. I only used what was provided in the gmod hammer editor exe.

@SISTIBB | TunnelWalrus Ya I understand were your coming from. Its easy to do as you said but I hope they stick to nice morals. Its sad to see that not crediting the creators of such addons a common practice among servers in the gmod community.

I hate to tell you
but people can use this map without telling you, They can not just put it in a collection without credit, or republish a edited verison, they can edit it for there own private use.

I'm not sure if it's on the workshop that you can stop people from using it in a server... Same for editing maps...

But I have no skills with mapmaking nor do I run a military RP server... So It doesn't matter much to me.

Some suggestions:

Add AI Nodes, please!
And add some space, for flying helicopters.
