Actually, I have established a theory that if there was no Brezhnev´s 1968 imperialist ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the ČSSR, socialism would be still here, at least in Czechoslovakia.
Brezhnev actually killed the entire Communist block with his imperialist ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Also, comrade Lenin has actually warned against Stalin before his death.
Lenin knew something was going wrong, but sadly, he couldn´t prevent Stalin from being elected, since he had a few strokes after a certain terrorist (Fanny Kaplani) assassinating him and because of Stalin´s strongly immoral strategies (killing all his opponents just because "muh he doesn´t like me".

They might be seen as incompatible because of the senseless killings and lack of freedom of speech.
However, Communism doesn't have to be cruel. See Socialism with a human face (Dubček's ideology).
Socialism with a human face supported freedom of speech and expression and cancelled all censorship. Also all prosecuted people were rehabilitated with the beginning of the Prague spring in 1968.
However, almost all Communist economical principles were retained, effectively rendering the "muh communism incompatible with christianity" wrong.
