Hello everyone, please see if this works!
Apparently not lmao, I guess I'll get around to fixing it
So open up the .mod file and see if it has things like "replace_path" in it. Also check if the folder has things like common and gfx in it
It was able to go on mod list, but everytime I open up CK2, it just shows the original version.
No problem mate, first thing to check would be if you installed it properly. First things first it should be in your mod folder in documents, and second it you need to make sure you unpackaged it so it is a .mod file and a folder with things like common and gfx in it
So far the files seem to not work for me, I think it is either Nortan or something on my computer. If you know any reasoning or help that can be done, I will like to hear it. Also, thank you for showing me these files.
I highly recommend it, it is by far my favourite CKII mod
While looking at this mod, I notice you mentioned Warhammer. If it is the mod from Crusader Kings 2 (Geheimnisnacht), then I will like to know how to find and download it. Because I had trouble finding it.
I don't get why you don't download the mod yourself to check the result.
Aynway, yes, it's in small letters: thickandthinborder.zip
It seems to be the case with all Workshop mods.
I did that because the folder I had made used the capitals, did it change it when you download it?
I suspect it's as the name is wrong in the path line.
It's:
path = "mod/ThickandThinBorder"
but should be like the folder name:
path = "mod/thickandthinborder"
I remember something about that a long time ago, but I think for some reason to upload it to steam properly it has to be "path" rather than archive, and then steam should put it into "archive" when people download it, but I guess it didnt for some reason
Well the foremost issue seems to be in changing the "path" line in the *.mod file to
archive="mod/thickandthinBorder.zip"
to get it loaded in the first place ;)
Though i thought Stema does that when you upload....meh , i don't know.
Apart from that it seems to work.
Looking at the *.mod file i also see why.
It's "path" in there and not "archive" as required for a zipped mod and the full modname with zip extension shoud be in it.
Is it just me or is this mod not working anymore ?
@bombardier26 Odd, have you tried un-subbing and re subbing? Also, can you tell me how it is not working?
