Hello everyone, please see if this works!
E 8 Aug, 2020 @ 4:10am
I wish someone would take and update this until the original creator decides to come back.
Mauamu 19 May, 2019 @ 3:30pm
A real shame this never got updated. Might as well unsub

Looks like you didn't get around to fixing it lol. Too bad because this mod looks great.
NPC 23 Feb, 2019 @ 12:12pm
will this be updated?
karl 25 Sep, 2018 @ 8:45am
Please, make it work :)
SloganLogan  [author] 2 Sep, 2018 @ 6:10pm
@karl

Apparently not lmao, I guess I'll get around to fixing it
karl 2 Sep, 2018 @ 3:34pm
Is this mod still working?
Donald Trump 21 Feb, 2018 @ 6:22am
yeah, dude. Great mod but like already said: replace the "path" line with "archive="mod/thickandthinBorder.zip" to get it to work.
SloganLogan  [author] 19 Nov, 2017 @ 8:08am
@Evilone2648
So open up the .mod file and see if it has things like "replace_path" in it. Also check if the folder has things like common and gfx in it
Void_Summoner 18 Nov, 2017 @ 5:12pm
@Emperor Asuar
It was able to go on mod list, but everytime I open up CK2, it just shows the original version.
SloganLogan  [author] 18 Nov, 2017 @ 7:34am
@Evilone2648
No problem mate, first thing to check would be if you installed it properly. First things first it should be in your mod folder in documents, and second it you need to make sure you unpackaged it so it is a .mod file and a folder with things like common and gfx in it
Void_Summoner 17 Nov, 2017 @ 6:33pm
@Emerpor Ausur
So far the files seem to not work for me, I think it is either Nortan or something on my computer. If you know any reasoning or help that can be done, I will like to hear it. Also, thank you for showing me these files.
SloganLogan  [author] 16 Nov, 2017 @ 9:50pm
@Evilone2648 Its not on the steam workshop anymore, because it was too big, though that might change, however it is on paradox forums at https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?forums/warhammer-geheimnisnacht-mod.902/
I highly recommend it, it is by far my favourite CKII mod
Void_Summoner 16 Nov, 2017 @ 2:39pm
@Emperor Ausar
While looking at this mod, I notice you mentioned Warhammer. If it is the mod from Crusader Kings 2 (Geheimnisnacht), then I will like to know how to find and download it. Because I had trouble finding it.
Varainger 19 May, 2017 @ 1:27pm
@Emperor Ausar
I don't get why you don't download the mod yourself to check the result.
Aynway, yes, it's in small letters: thickandthinborder.zip
It seems to be the case with all Workshop mods.
SloganLogan  [author] 19 May, 2017 @ 1:06pm
@Varainger

I did that because the folder I had made used the capitals, did it change it when you download it?
Varainger 18 May, 2017 @ 7:24am
@Emperor Ausar

I suspect it's as the name is wrong in the path line.
It's:
path = "mod/ThickandThinBorder"

but should be like the folder name:
path = "mod/thickandthinborder"

SloganLogan  [author] 17 May, 2017 @ 4:44pm
The subscribe button should put it in your mod list like other mods on steam, is that what you're asking?
Chedo 17 May, 2017 @ 9:43am
How do I download?
SloganLogan  [author] 4 Apr, 2017 @ 1:14pm
@Varainger
I remember something about that a long time ago, but I think for some reason to upload it to steam properly it has to be "path" rather than archive, and then steam should put it into "archive" when people download it, but I guess it didnt for some reason
Varainger 4 Apr, 2017 @ 12:47pm
@Emperor Ausar
Well the foremost issue seems to be in changing the "path" line in the *.mod file to
archive="mod/thickandthinBorder.zip"
to get it loaded in the first place ;)

Though i thought Stema does that when you upload....meh , i don't know.

Apart from that it seems to work.
SloganLogan  [author] 4 Apr, 2017 @ 12:29pm
@Varainger Lol sorry for the confusion, I havent really tried to fix any problems on this mod for like 8 months
Varainger 4 Apr, 2017 @ 3:47am
OKay, just like bombardier26 i extracted it and it worked.
Looking at the *.mod file i also see why.
It's "path" in there and not "archive" as required for a zipped mod and the full modname with zip extension shoud be in it.
Varainger 4 Apr, 2017 @ 2:49am
@Emperor Ausar
Is it just me or is this mod not working anymore ?
bombardier26 27 Aug, 2016 @ 1:27am
Fixed it, actually just subbing isn't enough for me, I had to extract the .zip file now it works.
SloganLogan  [author] 26 Aug, 2016 @ 10:23am
@laurent84 You're welcome :)

@bombardier26 Odd, have you tried un-subbing and re subbing? Also, can you tell me how it is not working?
laurent84 26 Aug, 2016 @ 10:05am
@logan.monk Yes it is compatible, I was wrong sorry man. Thanks for the mod
bombardier26 26 Aug, 2016 @ 9:45am
I know technically it should work but it doesn't anymore, am I doing anything wrong ? I updated my game deactivated all my mods except yours and nothing works surely there must be something obvious that I am missing, please help. for comparaison Blue Duke still works.
SloganLogan  [author] 26 Aug, 2016 @ 5:33am
The location and type of the files are untouched by the update, so it really should be compatible
SloganLogan  [author] 26 Aug, 2016 @ 5:31am
@laurent84 Is it not compatible for you? When I tried it yesterday it worked fine.
laurent84 26 Aug, 2016 @ 4:27am
2.6.1 please
Nate Da'Great 24 Aug, 2016 @ 2:28pm
Oh ok, I didn't realize that there was a silver line.
SloganLogan  [author] 24 Aug, 2016 @ 7:34am
Yes, I know there are 3 borders, the outer ones between realms, the ones between different vassals/you, and the ones between counties controlled by the same person. In this mod I have made the realm border thick and the two inner borders thin, with a silver line for ones between vassals to help determine between the two. I could have made the vassal borders a bit thicker, but I thought it detracted from the united look this mod gives you, so I decided against it.
Nate Da'Great 24 Aug, 2016 @ 1:05am
You do realize the thick and thin borders in your territory seperates your desmesne from your vassals right?
SloganLogan  [author] 22 Aug, 2016 @ 8:32pm
Alright
Enriador 22 Aug, 2016 @ 12:58pm
I will try it and report back
SloganLogan  [author] 18 Aug, 2016 @ 3:15pm
@Enriador Have you tried the strategy I had said for CKII+ on AGOT?
Enriador 18 Aug, 2016 @ 11:02am
Doesn't work in AGOT
Linde 17 Aug, 2016 @ 6:05am
Nice idea.
SloganLogan  [author] 31 Jul, 2016 @ 4:45pm
And that should work
SloganLogan  [author] 31 Jul, 2016 @ 4:45pm
Okay, basically what you want to do is go into your mods folder, at C:\Users\youraccount\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod\ and find thick and thin borders. Go into the mod and go into the folders and you should get to a bunch of files called like "border3" or something, then go into the CKII+ mod and go to the same location and copy paste the all the files from my mod in there in there
SloganLogan  [author] 31 Jul, 2016 @ 4:39pm
Okay I know whats better, I'll tell you how to merge the mods and hopefully it works
SloganLogan  [author] 31 Jul, 2016 @ 4:37pm
Then again, maybe they wont like me posting download links for their mod
SloganLogan  [author] 31 Jul, 2016 @ 4:33pm
Its weird, because it works perfectly fine for me, but apparently not anyone else. I could merge CKII+ and my mod together to create a mod that is CKII+ but with my borders, do you want me to do that with the india included or excluded version?
Wallenkirsch 31 Jul, 2016 @ 2:43pm
alright, wish i could help but i have no clue on the first ideas of modding :/
SloganLogan  [author] 30 Jul, 2016 @ 10:43pm
@King_Henry_II Lol, I haven't had a comment in ages, I will try again tomorrow and try to see what the problem is
Wallenkirsch 30 Jul, 2016 @ 7:31pm
@logan.monk yes it just doesnt show up while in the game on CKII+
SloganLogan  [author] 15 Jun, 2016 @ 12:53pm
Well I have realized from troubles with this and my other mod I am not very good at solving mod problems. It does appear in launcher, right?
Tjuh 14 Jun, 2016 @ 9:36pm
Latest version: 2.5.2.2 (OTSX)
