Its not Firaxis's direct fault, the BS comes from 2K and their idea of screwing things up for their customers so they can make more money out of them. Thank God the Alternative Mod launcher exists

LOL literally minutes after typing that the launcher crapped out, won't load mods and won't show the mod control page, and the game dies on launch because I can't turn the mods off. Firaxis is evil AI

You should chill man, not everyone has the technical know-how to work the unsubscribe button. For some it takes years just to figure it out. I blame Firaxis and their crappy launcher.

Why don't you fix it your damn self? The guy made a MOD for free & you're using it. Be thankful. Also, it worked fine for me so you're the idiot that must be doing something wrong.

Please remove this mod, it is screwing up other mods. If you weren't going to update it, don't bother. It was good when it worked, but your laziness is obvious.

@Jaylo that may be true but variety never hurt anyone! You could argue whats the point of having Candles when electric lights do the same thing.

There is no need for this mod now when you can just have the wotc mod that increases or removes completely the loot timer.

very cool mod. I was trying to add a little balance in my game by shortening the range. Why is 3000 the default? is that in tiles or a different range unit? I tried editing the ini to 20 and then again to 200, however both of those values caused the ability not to show up, even when it was right in front of the solider.

It seems to work fine without the Perfect information mod that says it's required. I've been using this and I don't have the other mod, I was looking through my mods and just noticed that you have that listed as required.

Excellent mod, should have been in vanilla! Happy for this ability to be a blue move, seems to keep in line with other Gremlin specific moves such as LW2 Airdrop and the Scanning ability.

As shown in the second screenshot (the .ini file) and as said before by the modder itself in those comments, looting with a specialist drone (if he/she is in LOS) will cost 1 AP (by default) so I don't undestand your proposal ;)

I agree with Midnight Phantasm. No AP cost at all is a bit OP but one AP to activate would be fair.

So, to help balance it, maybe just have the action cost an action point? I think that would be a fair tradeoff to not having to put soldiers in danger. (not a turn ending point like shooting, just worth a movement point)

Is there a way to make this an ability with charges? I'd like to see something like this because I've got a mod that gives up to 3 loot drops per mission and it would make specialists and other gremlin users pretty decent compared to Stealthers for snagging loot.

yes it is.

well technically the icon will appear either way, but it'll be a janky "missing texture" icon if you don't have perfect information.

is perfect information still needed for the icon to appear ?
