Is it not working for you?
I hope this mod will be updated soon.
*Added: If both Fire Safety and the builtin "Warn On Dangerous Actions" is enabled, skip the "are you sure..." questions from the later on fire/lava
The later. And yes, the "Warn On Dangerous Actions" option kind of makes this mod unnecessary. But to be fair the mod came first. In fact, "Warn On Dangerous Actions" was only made as a reluctant response to this taking a top spot on the workshop ;)
But unlike the other mods whose features they integrated, I never cancelled this one as it works a bit differently than how they did it (you can combine it with "Warn On Dangerous Actions" to get the best and most protection), also it is kind of a low-maintenance mod so why not ;)
If it's the latter, then there is already an in-game option to warn the player that they are going to step on a dangerous tile....
I still update it for new versions of the game if that's what you are asking. But as I kinda hinted at some comments down, I don't know where to take it so I've been waiting on requests. You said Lava so....
*Prevents walking into lava
*Made it possible to attack creatures standing over lava/fire
If anybody has any suggestions for this or any other mod of mine, just post a comment! I read them all even if I can't respond.
That is from Practical Things. Go into Options and deselect "stoke when dropping items"
Assuming nothing goes wrong, ACore, Spawns, Difficulty and Practical Things will all be out by tomorrow.
The biggest question mark is what to do with MakeFireGreatAgain now that the base game has added the same feature.
Please tell me if you want to see new dangerous tiles like lava added. If no one says anything I'll assume you're fine with the mod as it is.
Protects against more sources of fire and has in-game configuration (load game, check options!)
Also flagged for 2.1 compatibility.
Enjoy!
I wouldn't mind that! I only created this because I was tired of walking into my campfire all the freaking time!
I actually have some other mod ideas that I'm sure would please the fire god ;)
