Tried this with Kega Fusion. At first it was playing at 50hz, so for some reason it wasn't auto-detecting region. After I manually switched it to Japan, for some reason the screen where you select your weapons had glitchy colors and odd patterns.

Now the japanese rom is by default in the library

The audio is pretty terrible. It's deffinitely scratchy as hell.

Are people seriously not noticing the distorted audio in the hub launcher? 50 hz or 60 hz, the hub screws it up.

Yeah, the audio is garbage in either version when using the hub. It's not the mod's fault at all, it's the horrible emulation.

Audio is going so faaast @_@

Audio speed is normal, as is framerate, but the audio sounds absolutely grindingly painful. This is not how it's supposed to sound.

@BigNife, that's just it, I did play the game, and the audio is horrible screwed up, the funny thing is, when I use the simple launcher, the audio is normal but 50 Hz. The Japanese version still has English, so IDK why they chose to use the horrid 50 Hz version. I'll try it again. I don't have the game by itself, but as part of a pack.

On another note, I wished they'd improve the YM2612 accuracy on this.

@the_randomizer1989 - just subscribe to the mod, go to Alien Soldier in your library, and select Mods (Y on the 360 controller). Obviously you need Alien Soldier already to play this.

And the reason why it's 50hz is because the PAL version is the only western version of the game that's widely available - the US version of the game was only available via Sega Channel, a cable subscription service. I THINK every other game in this collection is NTSC, so everything else should be 60hz.

How do I actually "install" this for the hub games?
