i wish i could play this but sega removed sonic 3 & knuckles from steam. And the websites selling the key for sonic3&k are charging a small fortune for the game

How do you get to the Game Menu?

With the new prototype tracks found, will you be updating this to replace/include them? They are pretty different compared to the S&K Collection tracks, and by extension the genesis renditions.

Well, I'm here, and I'll explain.

It means that it can't save normally. What it's telling you to do is to go back to the game's title screen and make a save-state.

Although going back to the title screen is not required. You can make a save-state at all times.

"In-game save files don't seem to work at all on the hub. You can work around this by creating a savestate at the title screen after having made progress and set your preferred menu options."

PS: also even if there are nitpicky configurations it's still good to have the possibility to change some quality of life stuff and look of your Sonic (like playing Sonic 2's sprite instead of Sonic 3's)

@StixsmasterHD because this mod is more than just having Sonic 3 standalone and Sonic & Knuckles bundled together.
First of all: it fixes a lot of minor issues (like glitches, visual differences, etc...) because they all adds up.

There's a lot of stuff from Sonic 3 that is "lost" once you play it with & Knuckles.

Also it's not unstable, I encountered no glitches. Anyway you're free not to download it but it's the definitive experience with Sonic 3 Angel Island Revisited.

I dont see why peeps would want this mod when you get Sonic 3 & Knuckles when you buy Sonic 3.

there is absolutely no reason for this mod unless you want a more unstable version of the game and the ability to make nitpick configurations.

@carlfromsa7 No, it's not a virus. It's one of the most well-known mods for S3&K, and is also just a Sega Genesis\Master System rom. Something like that being a virus is extremely unlikely.
