Just converted this to SSE to try it out. Easily the best arena mod there is atm. Kudos to the author.

So I've tried this several times and it all works except that I exit the arena and enemies still spawn. even all the way to winterhold.

Mod seems pretty good, though there's a big problem with the Fighter's Pit. Namely that Ubba Ravenskull won't send me down into the arena. He just says his little line and buggers off. Doesn't even take my cash. Seriously needs to be looked into, that. Gonna unsub for now and wait for an update. Cheers.

@Faren: Meet Anwindr in the "Frozen Heart" in Winterhold, or just find the entrance yourself. There is a body where you can loot the invitation. But you may enter without an invitation anyway.

Wow, your Arena of Ancient Heroes mod is one of the most innovative, challenging and F-U-N I've ever played! Of all the hall areas I had but two problems:
1. the Teleporter Stone didn't work for me.
2. I never got 'down' into the Fighter'd Pit. Ubba Ravenskull gladly took my money and with each 'donation' I got to fight several warriors but only in the upper balcony, not in the pit.

But that was a small price to pay for the excitement of:
» The Arena Battleground Stone area (A+)
» The Area of Ancient Heros (A+++)
» The Drunken Heros Inn (REALLY cute)
» The Old Barracks
» The Anvil & Hammer (A++ for giving us a way to sell all that Arena loot!)
» The Cauldren and Wand (ditto)

@jimroberts: Yes, there is no recorded sound, so you need the subtitles active.

When you re-enter the area later, the gates should open themselfes, according to your progress in the quest. The script, which checks your status and re-opens the gates is linked to the door from the first room to the stairway leading to the second room with the ghost. Opening this door should trigger the script.

If you are really locked out by a bug, you may use the console command "coc" to teleport inside. The needed cell names are somewhere in an older post where I describe how to reset the cells. See http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Commands_%28Skyrim%29 for help with the console.

Well done a great mod but when I interact I cannot hear what they are saying.
When you complete how can you get back in. The ghost does not respond to open a gate.

@RPG-Master: Hm, at the moment I have no idea what the problem may be. Have you tried resetting the "Fighters Pit"? You find the description how to do this somewhere in my older comments. You do not have to reset all cells, the "Fighters Pit" should be enough. Leave the pit before and do not forget to clear the cell buffer after resetting. I hope this will solve the problem.

@RPG-Master: Are the 1000 gold subtracted or is nothing happening at all?

The misty and gloomy illumination is intended, as the whole place is designed a little bit like the transition to the nordic nether regions (quest part in the "Realms of the Dead"), where I got some names and themes from. It should all look a little bit cold, misty and unreal.

@DampfWasi No no, its not really dark. It's just misty and gloomy, just think it needs a little lighten up. Oh, and also the fighters pit doesnt work for me... I talk to the Ubba guy "send me to the pit (1000)" and then he just ends chat and walks away? nothing happens?

@wolfdragonheart: Sneak at 100 with all perks in the sneak tree unlocked. Maybe I had some sneak enchantments on my armour too.

@willyrg3: Well, a teleportation stone teleports you to an other location. Just try it out by activating it ("e").

Revision 11: "Ancient Mines" got mineable ore veins. The arena stone is now activated automatically some seconds after you enter the gold ore in the center. The ghost of a dead miner is just for decoration, he has no quests for you.

Hi DampfWasi :) I really enjoyed this mod , was a thrilling experience, the only thing I will mention, the ghosts voices were silent, but that be because of another mod, and in the ancient mines, it would have been good to see something to mine, i.e ebony ore or silver, but great work, keep it up !!

@SC Celerrimus: You may use the in-game console ('tilde key') to reset the cells, which should stop the enemy spawning.

The last command clears the cell cache. The access quest should not be affected by this, it only sets the cells back to their initial state. I hope this solves your problem.

I just walked out the door, i pulled the chains as i was walking out so the gates would close behind me and when i stepped into the "city" area they jsut started comming one after the other, i also just tried the fighters pit, it wouldnt take my gold and teleport me in and a bunch of bretons, high elves, etc started teleporting up.

@SG Celerrimus: How did you leave the arenas? Did you use a kind of cheat? The exit doors or teleporter stones should stop the enemy generation when you leave. Try to enter and leave again. Each arena has its own arena stones and each door only stops the stones in its own cell.

in the arena battleground, the enemies dont stop comming when you leave and they pour into the other arenas aswell.

Revision 10: "Fighters Pit" added. A gladiator arena where you can fight for money and glory, or just watch others fight. To enter the pit you must pay 1000 gold to Ubba, but you get 100 gold for each enemy dying by your hand. Watch the video.

Revision 5: "Arena Battleground" spiced up. You will find pullchains at the standig stones. Try them out for some additional encounters. Unlike the Arena Stones they only spawn one wave per activation and not a constant flow of enemies.
