can you build the ship with a projector in survival or does the ship have to be spawned in creative?

This does not work. the ship will not pick up pieces the only thing that happens is the landing gear locks to the part where the projection is but does not trigger anything.

It’s funny because I wanted to use it in space so I put it on a box and put a grav gen in the box. The box was on a roid FYI

Well you know, it's awesome to hear you like it and that you might still be using it! I actually was in the process of making a space-based one, but Space Engineers kept updating and messing with the two of these that already exist, so that kind of fell flat.

when i first tried this i thought the idea of putting a ship inside a ship was genius!
and it still is!
i'm already brainstorming of what could be made with projections
also i think the update broke the nanites factory mod
(I used it to do the building for me.. *shrug emoticon*)

Well I think a recent update inadvertently disabled random projections. I'll look into it when I get the time, but unfortunately it's not a high priority as a vast majority of the people that will use this have already done so.

Well, same problem on Dev mode. There are no Blueprints on the projectors, because all the adjustments are back to 0. I don't know what could be. This mod would help me a lot.

I can't imagine what might be happening. If you've watched the video and followed the instructions there then something must be wrong. Did you try directly turning on the projectors from within the ship menu? Like all of the items named PRJ.

My first move would be to turn all of them on at once and see if the game lags or not, to guess if they're turning on anywhere at all.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I've tried the mod and no Module appears on my projectors.

Anyone having issues?

I don't think I'll get around to making new modules right now because there's some other things I want to work on that haven't been released.

ive been trying but its a lot harder than i thought XD could you make a projecter attachment for the base itself that way the ship can be dissassembled once you have your base started and still be able to create all the projections you need

Well sorry I didnt see your message earlier, but I have actually just done so myself and updated it! I have updated all projectors for this item and it should be functional again.

I went back and realized I wasn't turning on the Projector export group.. once I did this then turrned on the projector it worked flawless. The other issue I started having was the merge blocks wouldn't mate.. it was like they wouldn't even see eachother.

Interesting, but more good if we have some possibilities to grow in horisontal way, (not build at the top only). I have another idea that first base we will construct manually, then we choose at the base which projection we will use to build. But too bad that in my idea programmer block can't replace projection content, that I plan to use.

Yeah sorry, it doesn't work right now... The update changed the alignment of projected stuff. :/ I don't have enough free time right now to get around to updated my two projector workshop things, it'll probably have to wait until the end of August.
