If you post the size of the tower that you made allready (the top x/y value from the top part only), i can do the math for you and find out if it's even possible with all the entdata, texinfo waterindicies, prop count etc to maybe do it. If it ends up being half a detailed map, and half just blocky brushes because of source engine limitations, it's not worth it. Then you're better off with a pretty detailed 3D skybox.
