The enemy general with his gallic noble infantry (716 kills!) was fighting for about 10 minutes with almost no casualties, they broke through my garrison of about 500 spearmen and then got routed in about 30 seconds by the 3 archers lol.
I havent got much that might conflict either, cinematic combat, reworked animations and realistic unit collision.
I'm playing as the Visigoths and there's only me left in the Western Empire. It's 405 and the Western Empire is actually expanding! They are marching deep into Germany and have taken Scotland. There are no other rampaging tribes or hordes, because they were almost all wiped out immediately by the East and West Rome AI.
Can't recommend this as it is as the game is supposed to be about the fall of the Roman Empire. But (aside from the damage that 've done to them) Rome is expanding and they have slaughtered all other opposition. It's pretty boring when it's just my horde versus all of Rome. Is the mod meant to be played as Romans only?
