It was either that or making them silver. I tried to make them look like the default bullet, but that's simply not possible.

What's with the bullets being pure black? I like the skin but that looks goofy.

you should add glowing red dot on the sight so that it won't blend in dark spots

Sure. I added a new image, go to the very back row to find it.
Keep in mind though that Tripwire decides the final values, not me. I just approximated how they'd look.
