is there a mod that makes units stay in shield wall when clicking to attack an enemy unit?

ok so i found a problem. for some reason when i subscribe to this mod (or any of the other formation mods), the horse archers lose their ability to shoot whilst moving. Your mod is awesome, and it would be perfect if this was fixed !

super random question since you are a decent modder, Are you able make the soldiers to fight more chaotic and without restraint, not caring much about holding the line and formations? Loose formations that dont reform? Likes ur mod!

Great mod so far, but is it intentionally that some unit skills like disciplined and encourage are gone?

Makes the units charge and collide like in movies to get that chaotic feel.
There's one for Rome 2 and Warhammer, but none for Attila :(

@wm.j.olson This mod doesn't affect spacing of the units. The pictures only appear that way because they are also using my increased unit spacing mod. If you download just this mod, they won't be widely spaced like they are in the pictures.

Units are too widely spaced for formations

hey do you think it's possible you could make a showcase video of you using this mod only, and not the unit spacing mod? I'd like a formation mod but not with the spaced out unit styles similar to shogun. I've got half a dozen other battle mods to consider so as much as I'd like to download this and try it out, I'd prefer to see it beforehand. thanks again for your time

Hey! I'm not sure if this is exactly what you want, but I made a couple more variations of this mod, one which gives Formation Attack to most units, but not to light/undisciplined units and berserker barbarian types, and one which gives Formation Attack only to the most Elite units in the game. You can see them here, I hope one of them is what you're looking for! :)

I suggest Formation attack for barbarians only for high tier units.

Attractive, but not so accurate. At least barbarians would not attack in formation most of the times....
