night vision don't work if you put skin on goggles, is it possible to keep at least my fucking hair with goggles equipped?

Der Server hat 90 slots es ist also genug Platz für viele auch gößere Tribes. Es ist en PvPve Server mit vielen verschiedenen Mods wie z.B.

ORP, Castle Mod, Ark Advance, Stargate, Binoglass, Pimp my Dino, GlassMetall und noch ein paar kleinere.

Gesucht werden außerdem noch zuverlässige Admins damit die support Arbeit nicht an einem hängenbleibt.

The mod seems to have a bug.

If Player A makes a set of goggles and gives them to Player B and Player B puts them on, then both Players A and B receive the benefit of the goggles simultaneously even though only Player B is wearing them.

If Player A makes goggles and only Player A wears them, then Player B does not receive the effect.

If Player B makes the goggles and only Player B wears them, then Player A does not receive the effect.

If Player B makes the goggles and gives them to Player A, then both Players B and A receive the benefit of the goggles no matter where they are on the map in relation to one another.


While some really cool exploits can be had with this glitch, I highly doubt they are intended to work in this manner.

Not worked night vision...

What Eagleeyeleonard said - the lighting fluctuates, which can make the goggles rather useless depending on how dark it gets.

Would be fantastic if you could fix that little quirk.

@ohiorenegade: Goggles work pretty good... but I noticed the green tint they provide seems to go up and down in intensity (dull/bright) as you look and move around. Is this a feature or a bug?

If it is a feature, would it be possible to also have the green tint at a fixed intensity?

I ask because sometimes the green tint gets so dark that it's almost as though I did not have the goggles on, which makes this entire MOD kinda pointless.

unfortunately, it is utterly useless on a dedicated server. putting nightvision on for anyone puts a green tint on every connected players screen, and it functions worse than simply adding gamma. The model is nice, and props on the idea, but needs a lot of work before it is worth putting on a server.

Great work, just one issue with it. I know true night vision is built on enhancement of light. Low light is amplified by the goggles and all that. I took these for a test drive in the woods, pitch black. No different on or off. But then, I went into my windowless house, and it's fully visable inside. Is this intended? If so, do you see an advanced version where there is a IR light on the goggles? Narrow FOV but great night vision.
