No. You would have to shoot into the opening at the top. Sometimes it works, but sometimes you will miss the explosive devices inside, and it will not explode. If you like, you can fly inside and find these devices, and shoot them. These devices are the things that explode within the casing, and the metal on them shoots out. that is how i got the flaming metal.
