This mod makes so much sense it's sickening

Does not work for me. No other hack mods active. Since now only Hack Plus works for me. But it was deactivated for test this mod.

Thank you. Vanilla hacking is pretty much useless without this.

Spineking, I agree when you play low difficulty but in LIM, you are just obliged to refrain using hack AT ALL because it's too dangerous, so a whole class becomes useless, that's sad for the diversity of the game. See you have a skill that is supposed to help you, but if you use it, you get killed. WTF? A skill is supposed to give some help sometimes somewhere.

Im not sure if i should download this... I mean... It just feels right to get fucked over by a sectopod when you try to be a smartass and take the 49 % chance control hacks... It also feels far more satisfying when you succesfully hack because you gave the supercharge penalty a finger to the face and become god for 3 turns

Thanks! I ended up leaving it on because it wasn't crashing the game and it does indeed appear to work with War of the Chosen :) If you ever have the time or inclination to mess with the War of the Chosen SDK, you can probably just recompile it just to get rid of the warning, but I've had no issues with it so far.

FYI this mod still works even in WOTC. It was my first mod, made for the first version of the game, and apparently so stupidly simple that it has never been broken.

Do we know if the mod-maker for this mod is still active of if the mod still works with War of the Chosen?

I'm really not sure if I should, or shouldn't use this...
I mean, really... there isn't really a reason NOT to, right?

I mean, it's not like you try to take a shot, and there is a 50% chance you shot yourself in the face.
Still... I can't help but feel that it makes the game TOO easy... While, at the same time, it really only takes away an arbitrary difficulty spike that makes no logical sense. :P

Like, Mind Control - just like Haywire - trying to take control doesn't mean you inject a steroid into the person if you fail...

(Yes, just to clarify - I am being sarcastic! I'll deffinently pick this up!)

@Anisotropic:

Does your mod have any conflicts with this neat mod?

Anisotropic  [ophavsmand] 4. mar. 2016 kl. 15:25
I just checked that mod, there shouldn't be any conflicts. Thanks for pointing it out.

Is this mod compatible with Skulljack Feedback Fix</url]?
Void 3. mar. 2016 kl. 23:17
That's exactly what I was looking for.
Vox 3. mar. 2016 kl. 13:45
Awesome! I always thought the failure penalties were a liiiittle ridiculous. Like, a human hacker can actually give an advanced alien robot an upgrade in defense and aim in the middle of a battle? Basically as an accident, no less. Wat?

Nice! Re-testing this mod playing together with other mods related to hacking. :cogwheel:
