Otherwise great mod, but deep cover really has to go. Its useless. would be decent on sniper but not on ranger definitely. Especially when your other option in untouchable
The mod has been updated to work with the new patch.
for the rest just open the XComClassData.ini with an editor and replace the content with the content of pastebin
Please, use a file host that actually works. Dropbox, hell even pastebin would be enough for this. That file host won't even let me download it after waiting. :/
They must have changed the DefaultClass Layout so the removals didn't work from this mod. I replacedthem with the exact copies from the DefaultClass and removed them then I added in the Skills from this mod.
To fix it for the mess mod-experienced following instructions:
1. download the file under: http://uploaded.net/file/cvals9pg
2. go to your steam folder and follow this path: ...\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\634921857\Config
(XCOM 2 ID = 268500
ID of this Mod = 634921857)
3. replace the XComClassData.ini with the one you downloaded
4. start the game and be happy
information:
if you tell steam to repair the game it will delete the edited file and will replace it with the bugged old version. When Daedalus updates his mod the update will be downloaded by steam and then this fix shouldn't be needed any longer

If you have a local copy and a sub it can do that too. To try to get it working with the mod unsubscribe, resubscribe and then delete the my documents config folder. Let me know if you are still having issues. Otherwise just unsubscribe and then delete your my documents config folder. That should remove the mod and have you classes with the right skills.
Any idea what causes this to happen? And since I've started a new campaign, is there a way to revert the mod's changes w/o starting a new campaign? Thx!
That's what I get for updating code without testing. It should be good now.
Thanks for the heads up. It should be fixed now.
I felt that 25% struck the right balance of happening fairly often (occasional double procs) without turning into a Serial level of multikills.
meantime is there any issue if I change the % of chance of reaper activation mid game??(40 or 50 just feels better to me than 25)
it will say in game "deal +2 extra damage...........in addition each melee kill has a 40% chance to refund......
if not is there a way to do this??
The config files in your my documents are created when you launch the game from the config files located in your xcom install directory. When a mod makes a change to a config file it saves that config change in your my documents location. Clearing that folder shouldn't cause any issues to your games. I've done it many times in the middle of an Ironman campaign with no issues.
The only thing that can cause issues is adding out removing mods in the middle of a campaign.
This should remove the changes.
