Okay, I'll try and get around to it. Bit busy with university and Civilization VI, but I'll let you know when I've added it. When would you like to hear the line? I think it would be most appropriate for when Sly is shot at/wounded/poisoned/mind-controlled, etc.
Hey Shacks, I haven't been playing XCOM 2 a lot since I uploaded this - though I have played a bit recently - I could look into updating depending on the request, though I have completely forgotten how to make/edit voice packs.
Oh okay, could you explain to me or link me a way to change it? This is the first I have heard about ID and a bit of a novice with developer tools. Thanks in advance.
Being a Sylvester Stallone pack, I think a lot of the lines are going to be hard to hear/understand in general lol. However, as the lines are just rips from movies and not being a very skillful audio editor, I don't really know how to remove background noise unfortunately. Sorry! I made the judgement call to add some of his best lines, particularly from Judge Dredd, despite the background noise. You are welcome to make your own pack by just removing some of the lines from this one if you like.
Thanks man. When I get back home today I will fix up this mod and my other mods. Happy to see that people have figured out how to fix the memory issues with mods!
Ah okay, I read not too long ago that people with too many voice packs were having memory issues - might explain my own issues that I was having.
How do I apply the shader fix? Can anyone link me on instructions for it? I'll apply it as soon as I can.
Sorry, my Sly knowledge isn't as good as my Arnie one. What movie is that line from?
@Jakejohnson
Sorry, what do you mean by shader fix?
Okay, if anyone else says it's too quiet I'll turn up the volume for the sound cues.
I don't think so, unfortunately. The way voice packs work is that there are different 'sound cues' and there doesn't seem to be one for when a soldier is promoted (unless someone can correct me). I have added the sound for killing an alien/successfully hacking something/etc.
If you recommend me some quotes I can try to find them and add them to the voice pack.
Do you mean the line, "How 'bout I say here and you go fight?" Regardless, I'm not sure if that is necessarily a problem with my mod or just XCOM 2 being buggy. If it keeps happening, try disabling the mod and see if it keeps doing it.
Don't worry, there is an AAADRIAN line in there, specifically after killing an alien. I just didn't want to reuse that line too much as I thought it might be annoying.
I know right, the unstoppable duo!
Yeah, after having made three different voice packs, 100-200 lines is a good variation I think. My Chandler Bing voice pack only has 50ish, so it can get repetitive after awhile, where this mod and my Alternative Arnold Schwarzenegger pack have heaps of variation.
