It does not show as Example voice pack for me @3D Master. It correctly shows in my mod list under the same name you see here. I would therefore suggest the issue lies on your end.

Apparently you never updated the modID from the example voice pack you modified, because the modID is still ExampleVoicePack.

@GoldenKiro - I have been using it with WOTC and works fine. I think all voice packs work with WOTC, although ones specifically for SPARKs or also add to SPARKs may not work.

does this work for WOTC?

Glad you like it Ceckard. In terms of your suggestion, however, do you mean the line where he asks Mac if the CIA has got him pushing too many pencils? That line is in this voicepack, I can't quite remember when he says it though - might be when healing someone.

i really like this over the other one, mostly coz of the nice touch music thingy often when i evacuate. makes me smile and often leads me to evac him last just to listen to it. might i suggest one line, from predator when arnold meets carl weathers and they shake fists and do a little shake down. arnold says: "you've lost some weight" or something like that. or the one afterwrds where he says that he should quit pushing pencils or something. you've got a great list of lines though, love it.

OK. Now game crashes by unknown reasons, but when I fix it - will subscribe & set this voice to Austrian troopers. I don't find there (on Steam Workshop) any mems of Herqule Poirot (Belgian character with monoculous & mustache). Should be useful pack I guess.

I just tried it and yours is much better. volume levels are good! Good job on this. Would you be able to consider doing an Agent Smith (from the Matrix) voice pack? I think it would be great!

I am not sure, sorry. I unsubscribed to his awhile ago so I don't know what the sound is like. I think this voice pack is about the same sound volume as my other voice packs if that is anything to work on.

Thanks I see now in description, sorry. Btw how are the volume levels compared to tdc's version, are they similar or more in line with vanilla voice volume levels? That was my biggest grip with his version

@Drake the Pug Thanks. Maybe add a few other "Bennet" lines too at some point? Those two had such good interaction on the screen in "Commando."

I'm glad you've found a way to use both. Also, that's a great line. I'll add it when I have the time. However, there is no specific line for melee attacks, but I think the line could be good for when Arnie is taking fire or taking damage.
I'll be sure to let you know when I've added it.

Sorry for multiple lines, but any chance of you adding the "Put the knife in me" line from "Commando" to this pack for melee attacks?

I got both packs. I'm gonna have one guy be "Dutch" and the other either be an "Expendable" or a Terminator. :P

Okay, I rechecked, rebuilt and updated the mod. Hopefully it works now, although when updating it seems to stall on a particular part, though it says 0mb out of 0mb and just stays like that. I have looked up online and people have suggested just making another project, so if it is still broken I will get rid of this mod and upload it again as another project.

Really? Bloody hell, I went through all the effort of learning how to and making my own voice packs to get around the issue only for it to be fixed now? I'll have to test it out later.

Hi Drake the Pug. I appreciate you linking to my mod, that's really kind of you :)

I'm sorry I forgot to get back to you about that compatibility issue. The mods you said at the time that worked for you were missing some of the files that my mod had. These files came straight from Firaxis and fixed a crashing bug to do with custom voice packs. However a few days ago Firaxis released a patch for the game that fixed this issue, so I have now removed these extra files from my mod. This was the only difference between my mod and the other mods that you said worked for you, so I assume you shouldn't get these compatability issues any more.

However now that you've spent time working on your own mod I can understand if you would want to use your own mod instead of mine, I wouldn't blame you at all!

Sorry, I have just noticed the issue myself. A lot of other sounds aren't playing at the moment either. Going to look into it now.

the preview for this in the character pool doesnt play anything? (havent tried in the armoury or out in the field)
