its an old mod that is pretty much forgotten, the creator probably even canceled his subscription to this thread as well

yeah it works just fine and its still a great mod, its just that updates are always nice right? more content = more sandbox stuff to play with

One of the strongest factions I've encountered AND one of the most annoying faction when you enter their astroid home area. It's like a swarm of projectiles comes from all directions :D

To follow up on the update, I added two more ships (see currently last picture), mainy to accomodate a new block: Hail Docks V2. It's pretty much the original one on steroids, so have with that.

UPDATE:
I decided to amp up the firepower of the hailfire blocks by about 5 fold, because why not. Have fun destroying everything you see now! :)

I had the same issue as vanished but putting this mod at the top of the load order solved both my and his type of issue. I don't see why it would help the ships not stick together but I'm not a coder...

One thing that's not a bug, though, is the size of the redemptes territories. Having many asteroid cities slows down the game similar to spiky plant territories. I made them smaller but I don't think many would know what they're looking at when editing this stuff.

@Vanished the mod is pretty old, before all the new parts etc. were introduced, so conflict might occur. Consider changing the load order so that this one loads before anything with tractor beams.

Why do I keep spawning in the middle of enemy territory surrounded by enemies that have tractor beams - meaning I can never escape -.-

@Eon Pig - This is caused by the game's auto P system assigning a greater P value to the drones than to the command core. This isn't really a bug; more like an oversight in the auto P system and the way target prioritization is programmed... that said, if the mod author sees this, it is possible to easily fix this issue by manually assigning a low P value to the drones, which will override the high auto-generated value.

I've been running the Redemptes through the tournament and pitting them up against the other factions, and there seems to be something horribly unbalanced about their drones. Whether it be the ZLM nukes, the regular missiles, the laser drones, or any other drone type, all of the Redemptes' drones have "extremely high priority", that is, all enemy ships will stop whatever it is they are doing and fire at them as if they were full-blown ships.

This makes AI fights against the Redemptes almost impossible, since all of their opponents are too busy firing capital-class weapons against tiny drones and largely ignoring the Redemptes' ships, meaning the Redemptes win every time by virtue of just never taking fire.

Is anybody else having this bug?

@Capataina most other mods havent been updated for months either and seem to be working fine, so it might be that another mod is simply conflicting with mine on your end

The world doesnt generate properly when using this mod and tbh this is the best mod for my playstyle with the good shield :(

The shields on this faction are absurd. Even a massive spinal Tinkrell Cannon can barely scratch their insane regeneration delay.

great faction, I love playing them and playing against them. It was fun and pretty tricky to build ships with similar designs during my playthrough.

@PROTOTYPE_007 i made use of TTFTCUTS' Reassembly Web Developement Kit for most of the block design, including the colour pallete. Took me some time before i finally got a pallete i liked however.
