Hello guys! Somebody now how to unlock all upgrade slots for weapons from other mods?

update: It's not appearing.
Would recommend moving the path from /mods which was removed to XComGame/Config

this is deserving of an award.

Any way to add more slots? I'm using an ammo mod that allows me to add ammo to weapon slots due to conflict with another mod that I can't use an ammo slot in my main inventory. This of course limits my weapon upgrades.

I've only just finished downloading the new ModTool so give me a bit of time as I've already got a full schedule this weekend.

The mod as is will work in WotC for the default class weapons and shouldn't cause any problem beyond a warning in the launcher.

I'll be making a new mod that will include the three new hero class weapons for WotC and leave this mod as is so not to affect people who chose not to play the expansion.

Works for the old weapons but not the new ones, would definetly like a update or know how to get access to the new weapons :-D

Not working on new weapons, so far it dosent seem to crash unless there is a an comflict.

While i understand that this particular mod might cause unbalance in favor of the player - i think this mod, if anything, makes the game more realistic.
Because i'm pretty sure real life military does not care about upgrade limits, if they'll want to - they can put every single thing on a gun and have the most prepared strike team ever.
Again, if they feel like it.

For those who arent using long war (probably everyone here since LW2 already has 3 slots).
I've been using another mod together with this one to remove the armed to the Teeth bonus and replace it with a proving grounds upgrade, read the details below, the mods don't conflict, ive done nearly 10 campaigns with them with no issues.

Yeah, gotta say I've been a big fan of this mod aswell, since it allowed me to easily choose the number of upgrade slots I wanted... all upgrades on 1 gun is rather OP, but I loved to have the option for it. LW2 dont seem to have any way of editing the amount of slots.

The Long War 2 mod changes all weapons to allow for 3 upgrade slots by default so you don't need my mod if you are playing Long War 2.

Hi I just discovered that all of the upgradeslots for smg is 3.

Hey, how do i config this mod with LW2? There is only "SMG_BEAM_UPGRADESLOTS = 3" in XComGameData_WeaponData in LW2.

Hi there. This mod is great! I'm using it since the day it was released.
But it seems to be not compstible with semi-official weapon mods for laser and plasma guns from EU/EW. Is there any way to fix this?
I mean, what should I change? Your mod or laser/plasma mods?

Just so you are aware, my mod only adds weapon slots for the default weapons and wouldn't affect the weapons added by mods.
However, some weapon mods so overwrite my mod, I'll download the weapon mods that you listed to test, if you are using any others please tell me and if you have time a link would be appreaciated to where the mod can be downloaded would be great.

sorry for the bother but recently this mod stopped working for me and the only other mods i have downloaded are just weapon mods like the ak47/m16/m4a1

if i remember if u control Asia u can get an extra upgrade slot so it could ocur as a bug

That sounds like either my mod was corrupted on download or one of your other mods are conflicting with mine.

Redownloading this mod should fix the first issue, in regards to the second I haven't personally seen any conflict yet and I use quite a few mods in my game, could you give me a list of mods that you are currently running?

Is there any reason why I cannot upgrade any of my weapons now? I just started a new game with this mod (and others) and I can see the 3 slots on the weapons, but even though I have 3 weapon mods in my inventory, all I get is an error "beep" when I select one of the open slots.

All the LW weapon mods already allow you to edit their properties in their own config files.

Does this mod work with the new LW lasers?

Please click on the refresh symbol on the top right of the mod launcher window and active all your mods that you want to use.
That normally fixes small problems after you install a DLC.

If that still doesn't work then you might have a mod installed that conflics with mine.

this isn't working for me since the latest dlc update is there something I need to do?

I'm assuming you're referring to the 416 series mod by Yard1PL? If you dig around in the config files there should be a variable to edit it yourself.

It should be located in: Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\627081021\Config
Once you find it open up: XComCV_HK416IAR_HK417DMR.ini and change the "UPGRADESLOTS" from 1 to 3. I think you can even go up to 5 if you want to.

I do this to all the gun mods i download. Kinda scary the first few times and sometimes its a pain to find the mod you're looking for but it isn't too bad once you get the hang of it. Hope that helps!
