FYI: Koreans weren't mad about the Rising Flag before the 2000s or so. They were fine af before that (SDF has been the flag since the cold war and South Korea had no issue with it). Once the Left got hold of the South Korean government, they stirred up the issue and tried to connect the flag with the Nazi swastika and other Japanese war crimes, not knowing that the Rising Sun flag's been used since before the Meiji Restoration. So, the issue is wholly made up by Koreans to make Japan looks terrible, and blame everything on Japan for whatever happened to their country and for South Korea to gain leverage in the international political community.

I do NOT like the Isis mod flag. It hurts me. YES. But it's my problem at the end. My personal and limited problem of my fucking myself. I do not use it, final limit of my Freedom. Who am I to insult people who like it in their privacy? As long as they do not force me to play with it. Not in public place. Once again, a steam gaming mod is not my home and not a public place. Think what you want of people but in silence since they speak in public.

The Rising Sun Flags, Imperial Japanese Navy and Imperial Japanese Army was created in 1868 and 1869 well before the creation of what became Nazism (1920)

they have nothing to do with Nazism, think the opposite will come back denied much of Japan's history (even if they were still used during the 2nd world war this does not make it a Nazi flag)
