Been a long time but from what I recall the boss should be taking damage when you climb up to hit it but I don't remember if the platforms going away is time based or damage based so having to climb back up may be indication that you won that phase which are in limited number. You don't have to win that fight nor many others to continue to the end.

Well, this was pretty fun for quite a while, until I ended up in a room that is firing shock bolts from every wall, and you're surrounded on all four sides by those Mini Raptors, and if you move the blocks correctly, you can climb the stairs to wail on some seemingly invincible Frost Elemental until the platforms disappear, and you're dropped back down into the bottom, where you have to fight the raptors while shock bolts are flying everywhere , while moving the blocks to a new position to make the ladders appear again.

That's when I quit.

Ah yes. I had tried giving meat to the tunare shrine but nothing happened. I had tried to light the torches with various fire spells to no effect. I had to put three torches on the wall to cause bugs to spawn in order to light them. Basically completed the whole mod by suiciding to get back to Steamfront.

I think gate can be obtained by offering meat to the fire in the middle of the stone circle.

Thanks for the feedback. I never found the scroll for the gate spell so I don't know how to cast it.

Hey there DEVIN, glad to see you enjoying the mod.

You have to cast gate inside the storm to get to the rain god's altar. There is another gate when cast brings you to Ak'Anon, just a few magic bridges from the switches, a single toggle from their starting state should open the path to the boss in the basement, dropping from the top of the switches to get back there quickly. Booty swing is the end.

Okay so I cleared the boss room of Ak'Anon. I don't know what that really accomplished. I also have the gravity boots but don't know where I'm supposed to use them.

So I'm at a dead end. I have one gear key left but don't know where to use it.

https://i.imgur.com/74gDLP8.png There is this one room in the top right of this area. I suspect I may have to flick a certain combination of levers at the tower in Ak'Anon Throne but it's kind of tiresome to navigate there.

When I ask the clue guy about portal stones I'm told to cast a spell I never found. The rain god says she had given me rewards multiple times but there is never anything at her alter. I suspect the spell I need was supposed to be given to me but it didn't work.

Damnn I can't believe I thought that gossamer armor was good! The stuff you find once you get out of the starting area is insane.

This mod is awesome!

Okay so it took me a while to start and get the feel for this one but I'm liking it a lot! I know its older than dirt at this point. I'm currently trying to solve the puzzle with the light and the pressure plates to enter a really noisy place.

I went with a party of troll rangers. 2 back stabbers up front, a caster and a marksman in the back. It's working out really well so far.

The spell system is really fascinating. Not game overring when I die is awesome too.

At first I was a little scared that I would run out of food but lucky those ogres have the hookup.

I've provided enough cheese to the rats for them to be an ally. Gotten some great spells from a couple of the gods.

I've gotten everyone a puma cloak and made a few pieces of gossamer gear. I don't think the spiders respawn and I see why, their gear is good.

At first I made fine daggers but I've since found the butchers cleaver and the poison pick.

Very curious about how you changed the death mechanic, would you be willing to share the overall dungeon editor file so I may study the scripts and code you got running for different mechanics? You have some very interesting things working in this dungeon.

Sorry to everyone who experienced crashing but I finally spent some time updating the mod and hopefully everyone who had issues will now have a fluent experience. Thanks for playing, for your comments, and ratings.

Note: Must start a new game for the changes to take place.
- Fixed crashes.

Hi,
I confirm that the mod is crashing when reaching the big levitating platform puzzle
and also in the teleports area after solving the fist part when entering in the second teleport elevator.

May it be related to objects in the inventory?

Goodjob. Completed the mod in about.... 6 hours ?

Some of the weapon are realllly OP.. Loving them :P

I was so damn scared when i had to face 4 ogres at the same time for the first time. Lucky for me, those are a lesser version than the original ones.. because ouch the pounding.

The crafting syste, is inovative, but limited. I haven't found any use for it past the steel level, and some of the armor that you find in the mod are just making the steel look like cloths level.. lol

I ended up with 2 full crystal armor. My front line was god tier :P

Gotta say that the ideas you applied in this mod are fantastic! The new spells are really creative. I love the respawning monsters (appear to be tied to time of day) and the crafting system. Good work!

It almost seems as if it is a problem with the factionr eward system based on the timer. Does it keep crashing regardless if you climb up the ladder or not from either time or killing somthing?

When zoning from the lower basement up to that area? Does it crash when walking down to there from the upper area? Because you must have been in that zone before so not sure when it crashes.

Hi there, I encountered a reproducable game crash (to the desktop) on the map Ak'Anon when walking from a lower area up a ladder to where the dinosaurs and the riddle cubes are.

Though I believe that you might not need that second set of switches to open the door to continue, because they mainly manage the opening of walls in the final basement. There is also a secret water path, though it skips some content such as a boss and I believe makes it impossible to get out without a portal spell.

Need the magic bridge spell. From what I remember, it’s been a long time since I built this, I believe it is an item that needs to be placed on the altar in the temple outside in the Steamfont mountains which will open a hidden door; maybe the kobold emissary’s letter if I remember correctly. Let me know if that helps you.

Yeah and one guy with wind that knocks you back if you don’t have the gravity boots; unlocked from a switch across from him with that room of moving magic bridges. I also remembered that the key to the basement is in the zoo. The switches controlled walls inside the basement.

Probably. My memory is terrible. I'm trying to think of who you would consider the 3 bosses. I remember the undead guy with skeletons and a magic shield in the cave, one elemental dude in a small room with fire tiles going off, and I believe it was an avatar of Karana who spawned the dinos after pushing tiles.

Nope it just ports ya back, thats the end. Trick is to get the karana teleport that brings ya to the magic platform near the switches then jumping off the top for shortcut back to basement.

So because the levers were so far from the room and I didn't have the patience to keep running back and forth to figure out the right combination, I just teleported myself to the other side of the door and was able to beat the game from there. Not sure if anything was supposed to happen after beating the bosses (it just sent me back to start). Anyways, thanks for making this! Cheers!

Also I believe the lever that are climbing up that magic bridge need to be in a certain order to unlock the basement, you can enter through that other dungeon section or jump from the top of that switch climb or put meldrath’s skull on the altar near the well and jump through it; make sure you cna port back tho.

Okay so you had the magic bridge spell to get over to the other side? That is the biggest thing you would actually need that altar for; sorry for the bug… Been awhile but I’ll try to get on the mod one day to replicate and hopefully fix it for you.

I believe the levers in the roundabout only open to get to the one lever that controls that one door. You could also travel by water I believe but would miss all the other stuff that door would have had in it.

Hey dude, very cool custom adventure! I'm sadly stuck though. I think I may be having two issues preventing progression. If you could help that would be awesome!: 1) In one of the smaller rooms in Ak'anon with moving floating magical platforms (http://i.imgur.com/iioImda.jpg) I've pressed two of the pressure plates (not sure if the second one did anything) and I have three doors there all still closed. I've tried some different combinations of the "equal and opposite reaction" levers but they've always still been closed. 2) At the temple of Qeynos altar, I initially put a piece of rat meat on it and it spawned some wolves before letting me leave. Now that rat piece has been stuck on that altar and I can't take it off to put anything else on (I believe you need to put stuff on it like skull right?). I have 3 gear keys on me but nothing to use them on.

There are two sets of stairs. One that leads into the inner city, The key to the deepest parts of the basement can be found in the inner city zoo, and one that leads into the basement. The one that leads into the basement can also be found by putting Meldrath’s skull on the altar near the harpys and earth elementals and then jumping into the well; I can’t see why that one would crash your game but if it does let me know.

You did a great job with this one! Love it. But I am deep in the dungeon (forgot the name), and after unlocking 2 doors on the level with a lot of wines and dradon flies, when I pass the two doors and head downstairs, the game crashes every time.

@kinchongchoy Talk to the statue in the building near the caves for hints; you can also show it items. Step on the switch when the light is over it and it will stay in aslong as you do not hit a switch that does not have the light over it. Same for the other side.

@Raven You need to find the magic bridge spell by placing an item on the alter near the statue that gives hints. The switches in the next room control doors deep inside Ak'Anon and will be needed to get to the final boss.
