Yes, basically all you need to do is open up this mod and play with its innards. Just remove the silent music files you don't need and repackage the mod.

so this is pretty cool but i still want my escape music as im running the robin williams gm vietnam mod, i dont know anything about making mods for source games like this so is it possible that i go edit stuff myself to keep escape music with this mod?

God I was looking so hard for this after losing it. This has to be the best one out there.

I will update this eventually, but I am unlikely to litter the Workshop with what is essentially duplicates... I might, however, break this in two parts, so people could go with either one or both. One only silencing the "zombat" and another silencing other unnecessarily loud music.

Which is actually just the thing you're asking for... Unless some other modder or "modder" made a similar thing already.

This removes a lot of gameplay critical audio cues. You should make it yourself; you can use my mod as a base.

Is it possible to only make a version with only these ones?

- Campaign start, campaign end, map end, and saferoom;
- Ambience
- Menu music
- Jukebox and concert

Hi would it be possible to make a version with just the "No zombie horde combat music (drums, banjo, trumpet, etc)." Being removed? Or would you mind if I made it myself using your work?

I Think the incapped Dum dum would come in helpful, lets say you go get a sandwich and you forgot to tick on idle, if you don't hear the dumming, u won't know. But idk, maybe you could do a mod a mod thingy.

@Girly, you can still hear the piano go "plam, plam, plam" when the Hunter spawns and is nearby.

Simply, you turn off the Music volume and no more music sound. This just make the game more hard to play. Normally you can hear Hunter sound with little music, but with this you can only hear its growl

this mod kind of makes it easier to hear the important stuff over the not-so-important stuff, it's like turning off the music but keeping the important one such as a witch or a tank, good job, altho i want all my musical pieces xD
