@Skitto493
Thank you for responding so quickly.
I understand, & I will just have see what I can do with the blueprints that already exist.
Thank you again. :)

Sorry. By my knowledge, creating a rotor head attached to a wheel has been patched out of the game for a long while now. You can still spawn in blueprints that have it, but you cannot create them from scratch anymore.
Elim G Wolfwood 2. apr. 2024 kl. 11:06
I just came across this the other day. I really want to try the technique in my own build. But even doing exactly as the tutorial video shows, I can't get it to connect/work.

Has anyone else been been able to recreate this detached spinning structure technique lately.

@Skitto493
Would you be willing to help me with getting this building technique to work.?
If so please friend request me.

Thanks :)

Everyone should own this blueprint, it is such an intelligent design. Might be the best blueprint by far.

p.s. I hopped out of it while going full speed, now everyone now and then I'll see it zooming by my base.

I wonder if this still works. I used it a long time ago and it worked pretty well. Anyone have any recent opinions of it?
Scorp0102 23. aug. 2017 kl. 12:17
dont work i cant steer
asuraicHermit 22. juni 2016 kl. 12:04
This is amazing. I'll likely use this to help build an Einerad from Mobile Suit Gundam for my roleplay scenario.

Looks COOL!:steamhappy:
Skitto493  [ophavsmand] 25. apr. 2016 kl. 18:27
@EvilNecroid you can either make the beginnings of whatever you want to build, attach it, then finish building it, or you can build it fully, then attach it.
EvilNecroid 24. apr. 2016 kl. 22:10
@Skitto493 so i have to build it sepereate and move it over to the suspension wheel? cant just build it on there?
Skitto493  [ophavsmand] 24. apr. 2016 kl. 7:33
@EvilNecroid Yes there is. You just need to bring the 2 pieces together, but it's a bit dangerous since it jerks a whole bunch. Basically, the rotor head attaches to the suspension wheel like it does to a regular rotor base. The only difference is that when it attaches, it will suddenly attach at the pivot marking shown in the video instead of the rotor head.
EvilNecroid 24. apr. 2016 kl. 1:46
@Skitto493 sorry commented befor watching everything and now that ive looked at that video im still confused lol
is there any way to do it in survival? i only play in survival mode
Skitto493  [ophavsmand] 22. apr. 2016 kl. 14:07
@EvilNecroid - There's a tutorial on the second video
@Robot - Yes, there's a monocycle in Star Wars. There's also some in things like Men in Black.
@southernranger98 - Hmmm... it could be any of the 3!
@Big Heehee - Woah
@DarkWolf - Thanks!
EvilNecroid 21. apr. 2016 kl. 23:48
how HOW i must know how this thing works?!?
everything i try to build glitches out and explodes
Oiadine 19. apr. 2016 kl. 15:15
Isn't this in starwars as well? a monocycle. btw these things are in steampunk tower.....only kamikaze equiped..
southernranger98 3. apr. 2016 kl. 14:38
i feel like the fact you pulled this off means one of three things
1: your a geneious
2: you know black magic
or
3: you cheated like hell

Asher 14. mar. 2016 kl. 20:26
thats awsome
Mike Loeven 14. mar. 2016 kl. 11:35
Or just attach large shield generators to both grids :)
Skitto493  [ophavsmand] 14. mar. 2016 kl. 11:26
@Mike Loeven - It is possible in survival - but you have to be very cautious.
Mike Loeven 14. mar. 2016 kl. 11:20
Does this only work in creative or can you place the rotor part onto the wheel using landing gear ?
Skitto493  [ophavsmand] 14. mar. 2016 kl. 11:04
@Mike Loeven - I tried just now - I can still attach the rotor part to the wheel, and the monocycle when spawned in still works 100% the same
Mike Loeven 14. mar. 2016 kl. 10:57
Can this still be build at all in recent versions of SE to the best of my knowledge they removed the ability to build rotors onto suspensions due to the space bees situation
Skitto493  [ophavsmand] 14. mar. 2016 kl. 10:01
@=PD2KS=Forcedminer - It's due to the bug it uses - not sure how to explain it further other than that!
@Shadowrace112 - It's the good kind!
@Mike Loeven - I wanted to keep the Monocycle 100% mod free. You are free to attach whatever you want to it, however!
Mike Loeven 14. mar. 2016 kl. 9:12
You should make a version of this using the energy shields mod it would prevent the outer ring from deforming as eaisly durring high speed movement
BoisterousCoder 5. mar. 2016 kl. 23:46
WHAT KIND OF SOURCERY IS THIS!!!!???!!!???!!!
Ω Spriggan Ω 25. feb. 2016 kl. 10:35
Woah.......how is it not falling apart on those impacts?

looks seriously strong!
Do Furries Dream of Lizard Dicks 24. feb. 2016 kl. 16:45
I dont know how the author made this mod, but i do know every time i use the cycle it freaks out and crushes it's self against a space station wall or side of a mountain.

10/10 best vehicle ever
Skitto493  [ophavsmand] 8. feb. 2016 kl. 15:39
@Terradus - Sorry, but the monocycle is unable to be produced via welders and projectors in a simple manner. A machine that makes monocycles would have to merge seperate parts together, and that process is very buggy, and will likely explode the machine.
@SadowSun - It uses a steerable wheel glitch. You can find a tutorial in my second video.
@mcarchitect01 - It's to keep the center from rotating
mcarchitect01 8. feb. 2016 kl. 14:22
What's the artificial mass for?
Mach 31. jan. 2016 kl. 1:44
I've been unsuccessfully trying to build a monocycle in SE for some time and you've not only built one, but weaponized it and apparently made it near indestructible. Kudos to you. This is impressive.
𝙘𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨 25. jan. 2016 kl. 8:39
the game immediately crashes as soon as I start moving foward... :steamsad:
Megazord 25. jan. 2016 kl. 5:39
Oh, it can run on water! Amazing!
STRIKER 24. jan. 2016 kl. 23:23
damagewise i do find 1 issue, with the Sturdiness part, when driving on rought terrain, downhill or up hill, i often break the wheel (it also happened manytimes that part of the wheel is obliterated by a cyb,... (i mean)...Kamikazehound

as for stability, the monocycle often falls to it's side before i can counterbalance and regaing full stability, and because the wheel is operated by gyroscopes and not the suspension (sadly) i end up sliding across the land with the weapons colliding the ground before they are destroyed, i cant say for sure if its the monocycle or my driving skills, but we certainly dont pair well, i've honestly had more luck driving an APC than that, even though the monocycle is certainly tougher
SadowSon 24. jan. 2016 kl. 20:02
Could you please explain how this thing works?

Not controlwise, but damagewise. I clearly see it surviving massive falls but it seems to just come out unscathed. Is this using glitches or what?
Terradus 24. jan. 2016 kl. 19:28
Оригинально! Уникально ). Респект. Однозначно лайк!

@Loginov•Green - нет
@FluffyMuffins7 - I'm thinking about making different versions
@Zalseon - The second video is a tutorial
Zalseon 24. jan. 2016 kl. 18:18
how in the hell did you build this? how do you keep the wheel secured yet free floating?
FluffyMuffins7 24. jan. 2016 kl. 18:16
build a drilling one? :P

Skitto493  [ophavsmand] 24. jan. 2016 kl. 13:47
@avmf8 - Perhaps!
@Meme_Master101 - I'm trying to use this to make a tank with treads, if that can sate your want.
@Asso85 - si può vedere come , cercando i video
@SpeedVibe - When you subscribe to it, it'll appear in your blueprint list.
SpeedVibe 24. jan. 2016 kl. 13:33
how do u get it in game
