@Crazyglueit -- First...I absolutely love these parking lots and use them in every city. Second...Although I think this would be a pain in the butt, however, would it be possible to update these and remove the ability for these parking lots to catch fire? Just asking.

And if you're accepting suggestions, left and right versions of 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 1x5, 1x6, 1x7, 1x8, 1x9 and 1x10 Parking lots would be great too.

Not as much as you think @27mel01. Requires testing. Test in a separate game so as not to break your main game. Fun to toy with if your game isn't fully loaded with tons of mods already. You do not need any programming or design skills whatsoever.

Asset identifier lists as Park but yeah forgot Crazyglueit made that switch a while ago to Transportation. My bad. But put in enough hours and you'll look for other way to enjoy this game like using these assets. I you are looking for a way to access these assets early the mod below is one way to do it. You can always open up the assets in the editor and move the UI Category to park and not transport. You will not repost/publish publicly once you do that however.

@BrowncoatTrekky, thanks for the reply, unfortunately you are mistaken. I already can build parks, but these parking lots are in a different menu (Puplic Transportation Large Roads) and that is only available with population 9000. I don't like to unlock milestones so far in the game, where is the fun in that.

@Dokkr they are not but they help adding realism for better placement in-game. 99% of the parking lots in this collection were created in 2016, and I didn't commission the Parking Line props until 2017.

@27mel01 though been a while since I played the game; the vanilla game wants you to expand from a small town to a fully fledged city. Parks cannot be built until a certain Milestone has been achieved. The vanilla version of Skylines has built in mods where you can play by starting at a certain Milestone. If this mod in no longer part of the base-game this mod might still work for that. Starting at Level 3 which I believe is Tiny Town will grant you parks which are these assets.

I would love to use these, but I can't access them until I have 9000 people, before that it only works with Find It mod. And I can't use that, because my games always crash when I do. Please help. Couldn't they go in the normal road menu? :steamsad:

Sorry, I made these a few years ago and never noticed the momument lock was left on. I was using the Unlock All + Wonders & Landmarks mod. That should unlock them from the start.

Use No Seagulls mod and for the sound they will have to be updated to appear in a different tab in order to fix the noise issue.

Why make it so that it requires such a large population before we can build it though? Requires 11 000 at the moment, and quite frankly, I would like the asthetics of parking lots WAY before that!

Really good collection, mostly without these annoying handicapped spaces. Two things though that keep it from being perfect: Each parking lot by Crazuglueit spawns a single seagull so a housing estate detailed with these becomes overcrowded with birds.
Second - each parking lot emits train station sound (as mentioned below) which can be pretty immersion-breaking. This is most possibly due to the fact that they're listed in public transport section which genereates such noise. A fix for both issues would be most helpful.

Cars don't "spawn" on the parking lot, cims park their cars there when they want to access a building nearby. So just make sure there is a reason (e.g. shops nearby) for your cims to park at your parking lot :)

These should appear in Public Trasportation under the Large Roads tab. Although some might have not got updated and are still in the parks tab. Hope this helps

Yes all these lots contain car park markings. So cars will park on them.

Due to the prop limit tho on an asset. The bigger the plot, the less car markings there are.

I have thought about making a few similar lots to Forkboy22's Parking 4x4 Low . They are hard to find but I am finding that people are using the More Beautification Mod to hand create those.

You are my hero. I've been searching for more parking lots and not just decks, this was perfect. If only you had a bunch of really urban and rural lots as well, decorating the projects and the hicktowns has been tough

I am aware of the train sound. I am still looking into it. From what I see, asset sounds are tied to the tab they appear in and since these are under the transportation tab they give out a train sound.

I will move them to another tab eventually if i cant figure out how to edit the sounds on assets.

The entertainment value is fairly low around 25 and tourism is set to 0. Im not sure what is causing the problem though. Might still need your population to grow.

Thanks for reply @ Crazyglueit. I am using your "9x6 Parking Lot," "2x8 Parking Lot Plain," along with a few others... but over an hour game-play and no one parked there. I do not recall what the entertainment level is set for but understandeven if set to 0 and placed downwind of an attraction ppl will still park there. Does nto seem to be the case. I do not have Rush Hour but I do have Match DLC along with all the others. Suggestions?

Depends on which ones you are using, the larger size lots have less car spawns compared to the smaller size. Also Cims tend to use the lots closer to buildings first.

TBH i haven't used or test these yet with Match Day DLC or Rush Hour.

Just to answer an older question that I thought others might still care to hear: The author of Rush Hour explicitly offers a mouse tip when you mouse over the mod's option "increase use of parking spaces" (found under the "General" tab) that says "Allows a larger search radius for parking spaces. Will cause cars to travel through buildings the higher the radius."

Ill give its some thought... I'm still trying to figure out which lots are the most useful.

My goal is to have another collection more refined with fewer lots, giving mayors the basics of what it takes to recreate any size lot. I'm finding that anything bigger than 5x size is useless leaving less car spawning.

I aiming for the lots that are (1-5)x(1-5).

Some of these lots uploaded have different lighting which is somthing I am going to change. They will all have the dimmer orangey lighting that the bigger lots already have.

I hope this makes sense. So for example to recreate the the 10x(1-3) use two that are 5x(1-3)

and for the 9x(1-3) would be a 5x and a 4x(1-3)

I was thinking more sizes, like 10X1-3, or 9X1-3. A lot of x1's. Same with parking lot design, like fences, lighting, etc. But take your time.
