Well, they introduced some changes to suspension since script was made and "air shock" parameter was actually inspired by that script. Maybe it no longer necessary?
JDaremo Fireheart 2 Mar, 2019 @ 10:44pm
Just came back to SE and I wanted to grab one of my favourite trucks unfortunately it seems the suspension script this relies on may be broken and the author hasn't responded to a post by another user about that.

I'll still give it a try, because it may be something else that user has installed that is breaking it . . . and I loved this truck when I last played over a year ago . . . back when Keen broke all the LCD image mods.

It should work better now! Wheels got fixed!
TwitchingPsycho 29 Jan, 2017 @ 6:51pm
Could i ask for permission to use the lower part of this truck for a variation of mine? (Essentially, the chassis)
Brickster22 30 Oct, 2016 @ 8:20pm
This Has so many features! It has oxygen, cargo, seating, pistons for wheel repairs, scripts to make wheels function better and now I've forgot the rest. This is Amazing!
SSven 26 Oct, 2016 @ 1:34am
Figured that much. May be worked around by having 6 gears; 1-2-3-4-5-6 and showing GearNo-1 (1-1,2-1,3-1...) on the panel. Tho i dont know C# i cant be certain and i cant simply look into the code and make something out of it. Only doing logical thinking stuff through my Cbasic & Lua knowledge ^^
LeonserGT  [author] 26 Oct, 2016 @ 1:29am
But script can't recognize anything of these, even 0 :(
Maybe I can ask script's author to add support for N or P instead of number, then it's ok :)
SSven 26 Oct, 2016 @ 1:27am
Well since we are talking about gears it should be either 0, N or P(ark) (N could be a little misleading since anyone with a little knowledge knows what it does and will try to avoid it when they park their car, and no keyboard input == N i suppose.)
LeonserGT  [author] 26 Oct, 2016 @ 1:18am
Thanks, also N gear idea is good, the only bad thing is that it should be called by some specific number instead of N and it can be confusing for players :)
SSven 26 Oct, 2016 @ 12:31am
Heed my call and come back to life!

This truck is good. Literally. Only thing i couldn't do was climb 60~degrees on the long run!
This is better than anything i or my friend did in our history combined (talking about wheeled stuff tho)

BTW there are too many details and i frickin' loved them!
(I suggest an N gear for when, you know; stop. Max anything that helps you break. Since handbreak doesnt seem to do enough we need to break for ourselves.)

5/7 would drive again.
Have my thumbs up!

@ LeonserGT: i agree with you there it is the most stable but the wheels are definightly buggy to shit in SE i did get a good hours drive on it at 100km/h before slamming into a tree and killing myself.

NOTE:
i was driving on VERY rocky terrian so that could be a major factor as to why i was flipping over so much.

i mannaged to get some fun out of it by dropping the chassis almost to the ground so the center of grav was lower and it seemed to work for a hour (as i said, an hours drive on it) but as soon as i tried turning it just did a wheelie then proceeded to flip onto it's back and cartwheel to doom

most likely due to the games mechanics than your truck.

once again nice truck, very fun to drive and simple to use.
LeonserGT  [author] 12 Jul, 2016 @ 2:09am
1) Depends on how you're driving, wheels are bad and bugged in SE and from my experience this truck one of the stablest four-wheel vehicles. There's no sway bar and not even differential in vanilla to improve driving (but differential was partially implemented by script)
3) Anything will crash in thousand pieces if it hit voxel

And you sure that issue like piston heads falling off is my issue, not game itself? Lights were re-adjusted for each bugged update so many times that I stopped updating them, now spotlights seem stable, I guess I can make final adjustment for them.
Captain-Keyes 11 Jul, 2016 @ 3:01pm
okay i'm having ALOT of issues with this vehicle.

1) it constantly flips over and despite my efforts to flip it back it persists to just break into tiney tiny pieces or a useless hunk of junk before it finds where "down" is.

2) there's no easy way to flip this pile of doodoo over.

3) although the driving is quite nice and the suspension is great if you go over 10km/h and hit, say a tiny bump on the road, or terrain, it imidately makes this thing do a cartwheel and therefore explode into pieces again.

those are my main ones, there are some minor ones like lights not working correctly, piston heads dropping off into nothing etc. but so far the three up above annoy the F outta me.

nice truck though :) don't trust me with it though :P
tyriael_soban 15 Jun, 2016 @ 8:09pm
I got it working, manual mode when i realized i needed the g:up/down timers (which works perfectly) for some reason, maybe sleep deprevation, my mind had focused on needing three timers to make it function.
I guess the third timer kept resetting everything before it could do any work (it couldnt even rename the suspension struts) after that i didnt even need to title the timers "susp_c" and i figured it out by using the antenna on the lion to display all the suspension script controls, so i guess your truck was actually more help than the manual. :steamhappy:
LeonserGT  [author] 15 Jun, 2016 @ 6:21am
Have you read the manual for script itself? If you set up script properly you can simpy copy my gearbox presets from this vehicle and change them as you want, to switch gearbox up/down you need to manually run program with arguments "g:up" and "g:down", I did it with timers to make it obvious, what these two buttons on toolbar are for changing gear up and down, when you aim cursor on them, instead of "Program - run" and "Program - run" :D
tyriael_soban 15 Jun, 2016 @ 5:21am
How did you get the gearbox script to work like that? i cant even get it to run in automatic mode lol
saultry little binch 8 Jun, 2016 @ 4:04pm
Well done, one of the finest vehicles I've ever had the pleasure of bouncing down a mountain in. Congratulations on a wonderful vehicle.
Drillz007 30 Mar, 2016 @ 4:14pm
Love the name its like a sadistic joke about cecil the lion
LeonserGT  [author] 26 Mar, 2016 @ 5:45am
The blueprint updated with brand new "realistic suspension" script
Ethan Gilmaer 13 Feb, 2016 @ 9:01pm
I have disable the brake , it still goes really slow
Ethan Gilmaer 13 Feb, 2016 @ 9:00pm
So slow
Ethan Gilmaer 13 Feb, 2016 @ 9:00pm
How to use
PartymanNL 6 Feb, 2016 @ 1:41am
gg good car
LeonserGT  [author] 19 Jan, 2016 @ 10:26am
It's same as landing gears - P
Delebre 19 Jan, 2016 @ 9:07am
How do you turn the brake on/off?
Zanzikahn 18 Jan, 2016 @ 11:31pm
@ MCzenman If you go into the control panel, you can set the speed by scrolling all the way to the bottom on the Wheel Configuration control panel.
xenolego 17 Jan, 2016 @ 3:18pm
Cool!
Alenn G'Kar 17 Jan, 2016 @ 1:16pm
@mczenman use "P" to disable breaks =)
Racerexia 17 Jan, 2016 @ 2:11am
have you tried using one of the older versions of the game, one that DID work for you? in any case cool ride and hope you get to fixing your pc.
MCzenman 15 Jan, 2016 @ 8:08pm
How do I get it to move faster?
GrumpyPlok616 14 Jan, 2016 @ 2:38pm
No Drillz its not its just a named lion

Also I love your stuff dude keep it up
Drillz007 13 Jan, 2016 @ 7:29pm
is this a refrence to cecil the lion?
LeonserGT  [author] 13 Jan, 2016 @ 2:58pm
Nope, I'm still using 7 :D
Donations will not cover even a... anything, especially new PC. And I keep feeling it's too early for donations for me, my greatest mod (one of 2-3 my mods at all) made not only by me and use a ton of other's workshop works - it's like I'm using someone's creations to get money
DeAnti 13 Jan, 2016 @ 2:39pm
DAMN, good luck maybe you can setup a donation link.. windows 10 has been giving me problems too
LeonserGT  [author] 13 Jan, 2016 @ 2:35pm
This doesn't mean I abandon it forever. Just until optimization updates. Or I'll find a job and assemble new PC...
DeAnti 13 Jan, 2016 @ 2:29pm
oh, that even worse :( that was the best mod on the workshop
Adam_Schadow 13 Jan, 2016 @ 12:22pm
After some testing I found out how to solve the wheel problem. Just use a bunch of 3x3 wheels, a large wheelbase and put the first and last pair a 1-3 blocks above the other wheels. It will take some time to make the wheels steer properly.
LeonserGT  [author] 13 Jan, 2016 @ 10:09am
I simply can't =/
May be it's my windows. May be those freezes will go away after soon windows reinstall, I really hopes so. But not - it's killing all my nerves...
DeAnti 13 Jan, 2016 @ 9:15am
so you wont work on Exploration Enhancement Mod till the game is in a better state correct?
ChocoCrispii 12 Jan, 2016 @ 4:52pm
Love the way it looks, gonna keep it in the drop bay ready for physics fix. No way I'm letting your efforts go to waste!
Stalker_Zip / 潜行者拉链 12 Jan, 2016 @ 3:19pm
Awesome!
