Good puzzle. Spent ages getting the cube into position at the end; watchet the walkthrough and found there's any easier and more doable method... ho hum.

I finally found out where the gel went. Nice puzzle.

Thanks portal master. The only bit that I did in hammer was the clip panels on the water droppers. Other than that its all peti. I'm currently working on a full hammer map however, although I've not yet decided on a theme to go with for the visuals

Nice puzzle, though I only wish the visuals were better and less like the in-game editor's stuff :P

Thanks for playing Quatrus =)

All worked OK for me. A little tight on hitting the upper panel - funnel - before the fizzler also time was a bit tight for hitting the panels for the laser finale... still a good puzzle and map. thanks for creating.

Thanks to Prototype I've made further changes which will hopefully mean you're forced to so what I want you to do. It may have made the puzzle a little easier, but I'm happy with it.

If there's anymore feedback guys, please feel free to leave it down below and changes are listed in the change-log =)

Ok guys, based on feedback and playthroughs I've modified the map which will hopefully force my solution more. Feel free to give it another go and let me know what you think. I've added change notes should you want to see what has changed between versions

Thanks Prototype - I think I've realised how I can remove it and force my original solution.
Prototype 8 Jan, 2016 @ 12:06am
I generally avoid using triggers as part of the puzzle all together. Yes, it is "the only way across", but the player (or at least I) didn't know this and there isn't any way to determine this by observing the map.

You could change it from a trigger into a button, it could even have a visible antline connection to the dropper.

Interestingly neigh of you used the intended so I need to try and force it more

Thanks for the play through Deathwish

Prototype - I had the discussion with deathwish and I was going to put some sort of arrow to indicate the player must pass here, but as it is the only way across and is forced, I went against it. How would you change it?

Re - the button its there because of the intended solution. I think ill move it across in hammer so its easier to use perhaps.

Thanks for Guys

I made no progress for the first half of my playthrough thanks to an invisible trigger. I could tell that I wouldn't make it across that gap so there is no reason for me to try. After that the puzzle was straight forward.

Is there a reason the only portal surface on ground level is behind a button? It makes it a bit difficult to get to.

That was pretty cool! I liked the dual-tasking gel dropper. Was wondering at first if a panel opened up for the cleansing gel, but I caught some of that hammer work. Great job!

I'll have a look at that. Don't want to make it easy for the player. Once testing is over I'll link a video with the solution.

Maybe half a second would be nice yes, you can do that in hammer. To prevent what I did you should move the fizzler a bit to the funnel area so you can't reach the white upper wall when you jump and fire a portal, if the fizzler was any closer I would not have made that but I couldn't see any other way TBH.... Dang I suck at Portal :P

Thanks for the comments erk - Would you say the timer needs another second on it? It is possible to do it but Is easier if you run along the wall for increased speed . Sounds like it was solved slghtly unintended Player placement near the fizzer isn't intended

I'll recompile in hammer before I make it public based on your comments - Thanks For Playing :)

Quite challenging, I solved it by precise player placement right agaist the fizzler so I could fire my portal to the upper area and use the funnel to get across. The gel helped me up and from there on it was just button presses and cube placement. The exit though, after a million tries I finally got to it on time...
Small hammer tip : to compile proper hit the expert button and choose "full compile, both. final[slow]". This is the way you will have proper lighting and visibility.
