well you need an image editing program like photoshop. then you take a mod already made or you look in the game's files for the basic template and use that as a base. then you draw over it whatever you want, save as a png, and open it in the mod studio program that can also be found in the game's files. with that program, you can check the accuracy of your new mod and edit the rotation points, among other things. you're probably going to have to go between editing the png and looking at it in mod studio a whole lot. when it looks good and you're ready to share it, save it in mod studio then open melody's escape and go to 'change appearence', where there wil be a link to click for uploading mods to the workshop. It's quite a lot of work, and getting it to look right is definitely not easy! But I wish you luck :)
