@KurdishTigers They aren't? I didn't remove them.
KurdishTigers:The Big 🧠 Gamer 23 May, 2023 @ 9:27pm
why is kush gone?

@Fruit It could probably still work for singleplayer, but it was made for multiplayer. If you want to use the singleplayer version, you should use the full Roma Invicta overhaul, or my 'Medieval Total War Classic Combat', or 'Rome Total War Classic Combat' mods. Those also have the pushing, but do not make any of the balance changes/tweaks my overhauls do.
Fruit 9 Sep, 2021 @ 4:55pm
I see that this mod was made for multiplayer, but some of the mechanics it brings to the table look really cool, such as single units being able to push through and surround the enemy, and I would like to use it in some of my campaign games. Would this cause any major issues?
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 12 Jan, 2020 @ 11:46am
@FSB Ugryumbly It should still work. Try it.
Ugryumbly 12 Jan, 2020 @ 7:09am
update pls
CropCircle 10 Aug, 2018 @ 2:17am
update pls
Talavarras 4 Apr, 2018 @ 4:31am
Ok thanks.
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 3 Apr, 2018 @ 4:19pm
@Frijo I didn't realize people still played this. I'll consider updating it. Until then if you really want the balance mechanics of this, I recommend using the Roma Invicta overhaul, which has been updated.
Talavarras 3 Apr, 2018 @ 11:04am
Is this updated for the last patch?
Taxiarchos 24 Jul, 2017 @ 5:23pm
i like that Phalanx fight a bit but dont like the rest
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 27 Feb, 2017 @ 9:00am
@LastZeroFighter That is the purpose of this mod, 'Standalone', it is just the vital battle changes from the overhaul without all of the extra things. It does modify the AI somewhat, but not really major.
LastZeroFighter 26 Feb, 2017 @ 10:32pm
Is it possible to use this as just a standalone battle mod without downloading the whole overhaul? I understand that it is intended for multiplayer and not campaign but does it still modify the AI behavior in the battles?
=[El Assesino]= 6 Aug, 2016 @ 7:05am
can you add the retreat option to DEI?
John 4 Mar, 2016 @ 8:05pm
Exciting!

{Δ} Achilles  [author] 18 Jan, 2016 @ 3:21pm
@Captain-Porkloins They are two separate entities. Not meant to be used together.
Columbi 18 Jan, 2016 @ 1:09pm
is ur medieval 2 combat mod implemented into this or do we have to activate it along side this mod?
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 12 Jan, 2016 @ 3:07pm
@Leuname There already is?
Jesus Loves You^_^ 12 Jan, 2016 @ 2:34am
I suggest here to use/introduce missiles knock-back for all missiles; it's realistic and accurate.
Fromage 7 Jan, 2016 @ 9:30pm
@ Achilles, Thank you! I haven't released an update yet. I appreciate your work.
SyntaxError 6 Jan, 2016 @ 2:09pm
@Punished can you link to it here?
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 6 Jan, 2016 @ 2:07pm
@Punished Sure, as long as credit is given, I don't care what you do with it.
Fromage 6 Jan, 2016 @ 12:23pm
Hey Achilles, I've implemented some of your changes with battle entities into my overhual mod for Attila. I really liked how your units moved. I haven't released the update yet. Can I have your permission to release it?
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 5 Jan, 2016 @ 2:47pm
@Predator it isn't for campaign, it is a standalone balance mod, that introduces new combat mechanics/abilities for *multiplayer* it isn't balanced for single player, and may not even work. If you want a single player experience, use the full overhaul.
Kim Jung Eun 5 Jan, 2016 @ 2:07am
Is this working only Rome country campain? or working all of camapin ?
Madigan 4 Jan, 2016 @ 10:16am
Hi mate, can u make this mod for " Age of Charlemagne "..? ( pls..)
Nick Night 2 Jan, 2016 @ 12:52pm
Loved the mod, great mechanic (I want to say fixes considering it should've been like this on realease) but the only thing that I didn't care for was how you only got 1 arty unit, I agree 4 is too many and the increased effictiveness is nice but I believe 2 would be better. But hey you made the mod and I'll enjoy playing with it against my friends either way.
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 2 Jan, 2016 @ 11:00am
@Leuname, at some point I'll make a strategy guide for the full overhaul, which will apply to this.
Jesus Loves You^_^ 2 Jan, 2016 @ 10:01am
Where to find more info about mod ? I mean I'm interested in a log with all new formations and abilities introduced (for what type of units, how it works, etc)
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 1 Jan, 2016 @ 7:14pm
@Cynical, by opening up my mod with PFM, and modding it to remove skins.
Nasmr 1 Jan, 2016 @ 7:09pm
If this isn't for single player, and the full roma invicta mod changes up unit skins. Is there any way to have just the battle mechanics with the vanilla units/skins?
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 1 Jan, 2016 @ 2:13pm
@Leuname There is no previous update. I deleted it a while ago, because it was outdated, and buggy.
Jesus Loves You^_^ 1 Jan, 2016 @ 4:52am
Achilles, can you serve a link with a previous update, like I asked before, please ?
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 31 Dec, 2015 @ 9:52pm
@Catterpillar Then add more factions to your side with artillery.

The purpose was to make artillery more effective, but fewer siege weapons, it is primarily for balance.
Catterpillar 31 Dec, 2015 @ 9:09pm
can you make artillery with more number? I mean like 1 unit with 8 catapults. It makes sense but i would like my siege to be epic with flaming rock all over. please!
Azade12 31 Dec, 2015 @ 8:45pm
It seems nice that you're quite active on the comment section on your mods! Most modders make great mods but never update them for the people in the future to enjoy. Great work
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 31 Dec, 2015 @ 3:02pm
@Grumpykitten Thanks, I'm afraid that is what turns off alot of people to it, the high learning curve. I'm hoping it might be picked up by the competitive community, so I can balance it further, and see some real skill-plays.
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 31 Dec, 2015 @ 3:01pm
@Leuname Because I don't care about DEI, besides, if I can recruit a scripter/start-pos editor, then I can push the main overhaul past that point anyway. The mod would never work with DEI anyway, since DEI changes their own combat nonsense, and so the mods would conflict.
God-Emperor Kami 31 Dec, 2015 @ 2:38pm
Alright thank you very much
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 31 Dec, 2015 @ 2:37pm
@SuperKamiGuru Historical accuracy and balance. Greeks did not come to battles with enormous quantities of troops, often they were outnumbered severely. As a result, it is quantity to quality. Spartan infantry are extremely elite, and are quite capable in the right hands.
God-Emperor Kami 31 Dec, 2015 @ 11:49am
Quick question, through my experiance the Spartan faction end up being jobbers, as when I go up againsts them they simply do not have the numbers to go againsts my troops. Is there balance reason for their low numbers or is it historical accuracy?
GrumpyKitten 31 Dec, 2015 @ 8:43am
Takes a while to get used to, but it's a great mod.
io 31 Dec, 2015 @ 5:36am
dude i want you know how much you make happy a man today Thanks you !
Jesus Loves You^_^ 31 Dec, 2015 @ 12:00am
Why do you not considering to make a mod for DeI ? I know it's hard, but that combination would be a ''killer'' one; the accuracy on ''infrastructure'' from DeI with your ''battlefield'' accuracy would be the best of the best. DeI made the error to remove most of the formations and abilities, and this is IMHO a great loss of ''aroma'' for the game.
Jesus Loves You^_^ 30 Dec, 2015 @ 11:55pm
Because a previous version (I guess that on 45MB) worked for me with DeI. Please give me a link.
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 30 Dec, 2015 @ 3:25pm
@Leuname Thank you, and why do you want a previous version?
Jesus Loves You^_^ 30 Dec, 2015 @ 1:58am
Achilles, you're right with historical accuracy; for that, IMHO, your work is just delightfully. Please, could you give a link with your previous version of this mod ? Please....
UnderTaker 29 Dec, 2015 @ 5:37pm
Thanks A lot man!! really thank you <3
{Δ} Achilles  [author] 29 Dec, 2015 @ 5:37pm
@Undertaker The full overhaul includes plenty of units, along with this, along with graphics/campaign enhancements. You may try that. Keep in mind, if you use it, use only the 3 parts, disable this.
