Can someone make another garbage truck mod? It genuinely infuriates me at how stupid garbage truck AI is and I'm kind of sad this hasn't updated for 6 years.

@Avatar Vader -- This mod and its dependent, Skylines Overwatch, have been on the broken mods list for at least 2 years now. They both appear to be abandoned so you shouldn't expect them to be updated. Use at your own risk.

Getting an Incompatibility issue with this mod and TMPE, any idea how to get this fixed? Maybe use an older version of the mod?

@HGscMENTOR Districts is incompatible with some mods like Trafiic++v2 and ARIS and potentially some others :(

Just a HEADS-UP TO ALL THE SUBSCRIBERS OF THIS MOD:
I turned off Enhanced garbage and hearse and also Overwatch. Replaced them (with results soooo much better) with one simple mod ..... DISTRICTS.
The author of this Enhanced and Overwatch mod hasn't been around in quite awhile, it seems. Never answers anyone - never updates. Dead, maybe?
Anyway - the DiSTRICTS mod author is very active with his/her?? subscribers and that mod has done wonders for my city. LOVE IT.
Just thought I'd let everyone know before unsubscribing from this thread. We should all tell each other when we find a mod we really like, right?

Okay, so I ran into the infamous problem about trash and death services not working properly for the first time in my 700+ hours of time on this game. Vehicles would spawn, but depawn shortly after, resulting in trash (and dead accumulation), resulting in 1-4 vehicles spawning at any given time for my growing 50k+ city. I was well below active agent limit, and ensured there was no pathing issues (though it's hard to see any hidden from you). Same problem occurred with this mod enabled sadly.

How I fixed my problem: Go into asset editor, new, then load the building you want to edit as a template. Edit the service range. Fixed. Vehicles now spawn as needed, and I no longer see constant spawning and despawning. As it turns out, the green road map when placing services is not just a measure of happiness attributed to the placed service. Hope this helps someone.

. Okay, I'm back, and I'm desperate. Can you help? Don't need you to answer, just, maybe, help with three more mods "tweaked" to do for 3 other services what you did for garbage and hearses.
. Been using your hearse and garbage enablers for awhile now and really like what they do for those services. Unfortunately, never found a mod to do the same for fire, police, and ambulances. Then I discovered DISTRICTS by gsteigert (which handled garbage, hearse, ambulance, fire, AND police). Tried it for four days and at first I really liked it, till I saw that it was not letting out all the vehicles. Sometimes it wouldn't let any out - ever. So I subscribed from that one and resubscribed to yours, which I still like a lot for garbage and hearses.
. But I'm back where I started. No mod to localize the other 3 services. Would you be willing to make one? It would seem that no one else can do it right.

I LOVE your mods for hearses and garbage. That said, I've noticed that garbage trucks (and sometimes hearses) spin in a small circle in the middle of the street. THIS HAPPENS WHEN YOUR ENHANCED GARBAGE OR HEARSE MOD IS TURNED OFF, not on. So I know it is NOT a problem your mod is causing.... unless it is the Skylines Overwatch that is causing it. When the Enhanced Garbage and Hearses are turned ON, they tend to spin in a little bit wider circle (overlapping off the road a bit), but it also happens when your mods are NOT turned on. I know your mod is NOT causing the problem, but wondered if you, being more "high techy techy" than me and knowing about coding, might be able to tell us all what does cause it. Is it just something vanilla to the game? Is it because Skylines Overwatch is not updated for CS version 1.5? Is some other mod coding causing it? Hope you can answer this as I'm stumped.

I had the same problem with hearses and cemetery's, so set up a little research situation (just for you) for the Landfill Sites. Results were the same. If you want to empty your cemetery or landfill, you have to go (while in-game) to the upper right-hand "sprocket" that you use to save or quit the game and, instead, click on OPTIONS, then click on either enhanced hearses or garbage trucks, then make sure the option to MINIMIZE VEHICLES is, just temporarily, TURNED OFF. Almost immediately you will see trucks pouring out of the Landfill to relocate your garbage. Once your landfill is empty, you can turn the "minimize vehicles" experimental option back on to keep traffic flowing better. I hope this helps, Jupiter. You have a nice day now. :^)

My garbage trucks seem to no longer haul garbage between landfills if I set 1 to empty-mode. Is this a know issue?

Akira - I don't know what PzKenny is talking about. That was the WHOLE POINT of this mod...to keep those garbage trucks from running outside the zoned area their facility was in. Please don't "update" that. That's the whole reason this mod works so well. If you allow the trucks to run outside the zoned area before that area is cleared of garbage, then this mod might as well not even exist. If PzKenny wants his/her trucks to pickup garbage "outside the district" then PzKenny can just turn off your mod and, being back to the CS default, that's what he/she will have. Again, Akira, please DO NOT REVISE this mod to allow garbage trucks to collect outside of the zone they are in before that zone is cleared of garbage.

This mod isnt working or the other overwatch one for the latest patch. I am constantly getting 0 to 1 switching when it trys to dispatch garbabe, hearses and police too. Unsubscribing from all until they are as i am getting to many garbage issues now... Hope you can fix, also has overwatch has been causing crashes. errors right throught crash logs :(

Hi, I have the same problem as Phoenix C64. Trucks will only pickup garbage in the district the garbage building is in, but NOT in adjacent districts. I don't think the mod for the hearses has this problem, but haven't tested it.

hi. something seems to be wrong here. with the original mod this didn't happen: i have an area, in the center of all my map, NO disrict assigned. around 15 incinerators. since i use this version of the mod, the trucks will drive in circle close to the incinerator, when they should be leaving to the other districts of the city. this causes massive traffic jam in this area and in the end the trucks never leave and despawn, or only a few leave.

Yes, it seems this mod has an issue, I tried disabling garbage collection assests one at a time but when I disabled this mod the garbage trcuks did their work, but ofcourse the vanilla ai is ineffiecient. Basically what it causes is the garbage trucks just circle around a couple of blocks and never leaves, unless they collected enough trash from those blocks, which takes a long time , all the while neglecting the entire city and causing traffic on that area.

@Akira, I am still having vanishing garbage trucks. (on long streets). I don't know if this point has been brought up before.. but perhaps the issue is that the garbage trucks are becoming full before they reach thier crucial pick up point... and so they despawn... An option would be to have them first go to their allocated red house and then work thier way back until they are full or at the depot.... That way the problem house gets delt with and the instructions are easier. ie after red house, collect garbage on way home, if full then ignore garbage from other houses and go home.

I've had some programming classes, but I won't even pretend to know how to code. Perhaps it's a good idea to implement an "order emergency services located in this district to stay within district" option? Not sure, but doesn't seem all too difficult. Just an idea. Do with it what you will, good sir.

I think that every C:S player who's been playing this game for a while and has built a rather large city has had alot of frustration with an ambulance retrieving a patient on the other side of the map, completely ignoring the sick person next door. Or the firetrucks in the city center going to a small rural village on the other side, while a whole street in the city center burns to the ground. I can't even believe it's been a year and Paradox has done nothing about this obvious problem that everyone playing this game has encountered.

@Tmigtkptmilmd No, I think it would not be so difficult. I want to to make mod for emergency vehicles. But I couldn't begin to make it because it took a long time to fix serious bug in this mod. Perhaps the bug is removed. So I want to begin to make it immediately!

Would it be difficult to make something similar for emergency vehicles (e.g. police cars, ambulances, firetrucks)? I'm trying to find something that will prevent my emergency services responding to a problem on the other side of the map, thus causing a serious problem because problems in their immediate areas cannot be handled due to a lack of vehicles. To my knowledge, there is no mod out there currently that adresses this rediculous problem. It would also be cool if emergency vehicles could ignore speedlimits (unless they're on patrol obviously) and red lights.

If I'm mistaken, and there is a mod out there, then I would appecriate anyone letting me know.

although I should mention that I didn't think it could be this mod because my error only occurs when I have subway lines on the map.... it basically prevents me from making metro lines on a new game because it pops up each time I get near a station.
