This is very cool, but some textures are broken. The Windmills rotor and the Church as well as a wall. The rest is ace though.

Luxfero 21 Dec, 2015 @ 3:49pm
Could you please fix the broken links?
Tyrant 20 Dec, 2015 @ 6:26pm
Adding you on Steam, I wanna show you how to edit JSON files to make your life easier. :)
Tyrant 20 Dec, 2015 @ 1:04pm
If you'd like I can fix them for you and send you the file.
Baryonyx 20 Dec, 2015 @ 12:28pm
And thanks for fixing the collision on the ruins!
Baryonyx 20 Dec, 2015 @ 12:27pm
Since when is that? I have worked with it this month I think and then it was all fine...

JamesManhattan: I see you tried to make a working windmill but failed. To fix this, you have to make sure that the wings part has the center in the same spot as the coordinate origin in blender (or whatever you are using) when you export. I had the same problem with my tanks... xD

@Baryonyx Postimg is doing this new thing where direct links to large images become redirected to an html page with the large image on it, thus foiling TTS's attempt to retrieve it.
Baryonyx 20 Dec, 2015 @ 11:42am
I recommend to use Github Gist instead of pastebin. It's a lot easier to use and also free!
And I have to say I never had problems with postimage...
Tyrant 20 Dec, 2015 @ 11:34am
Not that I know of. It used to be the default link when you clicked on 'RAW' but now that will link to something like http://pastebin.com/raw/f0V0DxaM and TTS doesn't seem to like that.

Is there an easy way to get that correct raw php pastebin link from their website so I don't have to type it or copy-paste it over and over?
JamesManhattan  [author] 20 Dec, 2015 @ 7:26am
Oh duh, you can just use the model itself as its own collision model, and then choose Non-Convex to allow other models inside it. I will update.
JamesManhattan  [author] 19 Dec, 2015 @ 9:35pm
I went nuts and tried to import every 3D model I could find. I am still learning how to use Blender. I will try to put in Collision meshes for those ruins. I also noticed that you cant actually put figures into them. For now you can do a cheap fix and copy a flat model like a dungeon tile, and use it as a collision mesh for a ruin. I also stopped using postimg.org
Tyrant 19 Dec, 2015 @ 3:30pm
Your pastebin assets are not being linked to correctly.

For instance, http://pastebin.com/f0V0DxaM should be http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=f0V0DxaM
Tyrant 19 Dec, 2015 @ 3:26pm
I also strongly recommend against postimg.org because they actively try to prevent people from embedding large files by putting large images on HTML pages.

Hello!
These are great models! I really like them, very useful for wargaming. I have been trying to make some on my own, but didn't get that far because I'm not that good with 3D modelling (yet).
My only remark really is that most of the buildings and ruins need a special collision mesh - the ruins35, the pavillion and the ruins small for example. They are not really useable if you can't place any figures into them...
Considering the missing textures: I had the problem too, but it seems that the link is simply not correct: following the link in the diffuse bracket didn't get me directly to the image. When I right clicked it and used "show image", then it showed me only the image and not the website. Using this link it then worked on the model.
Please try to add more large modern buildings if you can, like those you find in large cities. Thanks for your work. :)

I tried to get textures from all over the web, so of course they break. Lots of them are interchangeable anyways. Are any buildings (not ruins) missing textures?
Cluny 19 Dec, 2015 @ 12:35pm
Some models are missing textures, though they are not in the screenshot - is this intentional?
