It's quite easy to use portals to grab the sphere as it falls and then use the sphere to get the redirection cube. Then aim the laser at the catcher to keep dropping cubes until one stays on the button that opens the exit door. Everything worked as intended and there was no way to get trapped so I upvoted this map.
