I cant change it, steam robbed me of the permission to update it even tho i still have the correct credentials.
There´s a replacement but its outdated atm (will fix that soon tho)

Mod is excellent, I use it for a long time, 1 please increase the number of cartridges at least 500

I know that has been a request since a long time and i have it an my "perhaps list"
There´s sooo many requests and i don´t really know where to begin :p

Bottom line, im quite happy with the new release that includes the concussive ammo however since your request is a minor thing to do i´d say its likely to happen :p

That´s because there´s still a static direct damage portion before the explosion, i can add a config value for that aswell in the next update.

Hello i want to use the sniper on a PVP server! The DMG of the normal bullet with the ini. settings on 350 is ok but i have set the explosive ammo on 0.5 and its still a 1 shot on a auto turret but on metall structures the dmg is ok so why is there still so much dmg on turrets is there something wrong? Would be nice if i can disable the explosive ammo so can you help me pls?

Np, however i´ve found one bug i´m currently working on.
Sometimes the bullet explodes twice but only deals damage the first time.
It´s just an annoying visual, doesn´t matter much but i´ll fix it in the next update.

Finally figured it out and it was not as complicated as i made it, i simply started in the wrong end :)

As i was using the template of the BMG ammo when creating the explosive bullets they were instant hit based and dedicated ARK servers cant handle all server calls that fast and the bullet need a small travel time to process shot-hit-impact-explosion.

Bullets now have a small traveltime to "arm" themselves :)

I´m working on it, i now have a shadowcopy of the mod and will not release another update until it is fixed :)

Problem lays in server authority to execute the visual.
As long as the impact location is within allowed range it will detonate and do all of its damage but you wont see the explosion visual.

I'm seeing the same issue on my server. The explosive rounds fire, the gun makes a sound but then no explosion and sometimes seemingly no impact either. The regular rounds work just fine.

For some reason the impact explosion particles of the explosive bullets doesn´t show for me live but i can see them when i run in test environment, can anyone confirm this.
Trying to find the reason atm!

As far as i know it ain´t broken, however if you had the mod istalled before the update and managed to login during the hours it when i accidently released a bad version this can happen.
(bad version was live 30june 08.00-13.00)

if this is the case you need to use a mindwipe tonic to forget and then relearn the engrams.

If you accidently start the server and login, foce stop it without a worldsave, recompiling the mod now

Just realized that i made a bobo here, i rearranged the mod and changed name before i compiled it wich will result in the weapon disapearing from your inverntory, if you read this, donot update until i recompile it

I will release an update with custom BMG ammo to remove all confusions from you who are to lazy to read the description of the mod :)

However this update will take a while since i have to work alot and my time for modding is very limited atm.

Your math is off here or something is broken with the mod.
Have you really tried this or is it just a guess based on the percentage shown in the sheet?
100% refers to the weapons base damage wich is different between weapons.

100% with Fabricated sniper equals 165 damage
100% with BBS equals 3000 damage

I look at the damage rateing of 100 % on the fab snipr and 3 to 4 shot for and average leval carno and the bad arse has the same pecentage of damage and takes the same amount of shots to kill the equiverlant dino add to that the cost in resources and it makes the bad arse not viable and at a 50cal should be having a 1 to 2 shot kill rating but i did like the rifle just not the damage keep up the great work.

This may seem a little unrelated but I've found that the damage for the longneck rifle is fine, higher quality ones are the shit. However, I've always wanted one that is semi-auto with a magazine of 5 to 10 rounds before reloading.

this mod worked fine but i could not see the piont of running it and removed it from my serveras the new weapon was no more powerfull than the standerd fabricated sniper rifle it would of been better if the damage was about 450 not just 100 perhaps you can change it for us pls
