Thank you :)

There is actually another Detroit building, the "Himmelhoch" Building:

Besides that, there will probably a few more, as Detroit has some pretty nice 5-8 story offices on woodward ave..

I am from the state of Michigan, would be awesome to see more Detroit buildings! Comeback city deserves it :)
FredDeadRedemption 27 gen 2017, ore 0:42
you should make a mod of the Renaissance Center!!
Zuko 27 set 2016, ore 19:50
Very nice! I always thought the old train in Detroit station would make a great looking good building too, back when it was in it's prime.

There is this one:

Are you planning on making any more assets from the D?
Feindbold  [autore] 28 mag 2016, ore 14:34
maybe

Will you serve this up as a RICO eventually? Truth be told, I'd like to see all your uniques get the RICO treatment!

I needed to expand a road in my downtown area, but this building was in the way and I couldn't bring myself to demolish it... Great, great work! Detroit is the best.

And Detroit buildings deserve love! Some of the greatest pre-war architecture in America is in Detroit and no different than the buildings NYC has, maybe even better. ; )
Karl Marx 1 gen 2016, ore 21:16
Gorgeous building! thank you for this! <3
Feindbold  [autore] 18 dic 2015, ore 2:42
Thank you. If you decide to give modelling a try, sketchup is probably the easyest way to start, dont know if there are any tutorials though.
Renlou 17 dic 2015, ore 21:09
I also live in Michigan and want to give you a giant THANKS for this. I'm creating downtown Detroit and trying to be as detailed as possible. I've considered trying my hand at 3d modeling but know nothing about it and haven't had the time for tutorial reading at the moment. This helps a lot and if you do decide to create a few more Detroit buildings, I'll keep my eyes out!
dobartka 17 dic 2015, ore 3:36
Id love to see new manhatta buildings soon :) great work
Feindbold  [autore] 11 dic 2015, ore 22:29
:)
CartoKurtis 11 dic 2015, ore 19:48
: ) I know, I know.. just being sarcastic! Thanks for this building though. I love it.
Feindbold  [autore] 11 dic 2015, ore 17:50
Unique Level 3 should be right. Its not about a shortage, its about what I like ;). This is what modding is about after all.
CartoKurtis 10 dic 2015, ore 10:58
Where is located though? In Unique buildings? I think I keep overlooking it.
CartoKurtis 10 dic 2015, ore 10:57
Because there is such a shortage of Manhatten/Brooklyn styles? : (
Feindbold  [autore] 9 dic 2015, ore 21:12
Thank you all for the nice comments and recommendations :). This is really helpful.
My focus however is Manhattan and Brooklyn, that doesnt mean there wont be any detroit buildings though. There are allready a few on my list, Book building is very nice and I would love to do it, but its quite a challenge, as the building is very very detailed and big and I have to either cut details, or I will end up around 25-30k triangles.
the nard dawg 9 dic 2015, ore 12:58
Please keep making Detroit buildings! I'd personally love to see Ford Field and Comerica Park, Michigan Central Station (as a working station), Guardian Building, One Detroit, Ren Cen, Joe Louis Arena or the new hockey arena coming, the Fisher building, Fox Theater etc.

If you're not familiar, the Sim City 4 modding community did an excellent job with the "Barry Sanders Project" - a group collection of Detroit buildings big and small. Just in case you're looking for inspiration :)
CartoKurtis 6 dic 2015, ore 23:27
Um.. No, don't listen to anyone and their building request until we get the Guardian and Book towers! Awesome job! Proud Detroiter
Chief Queef 6 dic 2015, ore 16:20
Yes!! As a metro Detroiter, I'm glad I found you. Please upload more iconic Detroit buildings! So many beautiful buildings that deserve a virtual representation in our cities. The Book Tower, Penobscot, Stott Building and Broderick Tower comes to mind. Maybe the gorgeous James Scott Memorial fountain.. Ahh so many, I'll stop rambling
dobartka 5 dic 2015, ore 2:28
metropolitan building, Buhl Building detroit please
Mike Tyson 4 dic 2015, ore 6:50
Haha man now there's a demand for Detroit stuff, sweet! Here are a few others skyscrapers in Downtown Detroit:
-One Detroit Center
-Fisher Building
-Penobscot building
Judazzz 4 dic 2015, ore 1:29
It's gorgeous, the texturing makes it look so life-like.
Like others said, this is the kind of building C:SL needs a lot more of!
Xhorhasian_Artificer 3 dic 2015, ore 12:28
If you ever do another building from Detroit, can you do the Book Tower? Anyways, keep up the good work! I love your stuff.
PearBear 3 dic 2015, ore 12:16
Are you going to be doing more buildings from Detroit?????
Sorry I have been waiting for someone to pick my city forever!
Feindbold  [autore] 3 dic 2015, ore 11:07
Thx :)

@Yung Squid ,...mh im not exactly a fan of 60-90s architecture you know :D (though woodmen and a few other examples are pretty neat)
adrianderian 3 dic 2015, ore 6:23
More buildings like this! Beautiful!
Thanks :)
PearBear 3 dic 2015, ore 0:11
Reppin the D, LOVE IT
Captain-No 2 dic 2015, ore 19:06
in dem Fall nur thumbs up ;-)
templeofdoom 2 dic 2015, ore 19:06
Magnificent! Amazing work with this model my friend.
Elon Mosque the Space Jihadi 2 dic 2015, ore 18:49
Can you do some midwest 80s boxy buildings? there is a serious lack of this style in cities. A good example would be the woodmen tower in omaha nebraska. Thanks for your consideration!
Feindbold  [autore] 2 dic 2015, ore 18:45
Indeed, I love Detroit, in terms of prewar highrise architecture, its on 2nd place in the US, if you ask me^^
IDK 2 dic 2015, ore 18:12
Yessss! Awesome!
Mike Tyson 2 dic 2015, ore 18:03
Nice! I'd love to see more Detroit buildings & such, people don't realize how much of a cool place it is.
Londsw 2 dic 2015, ore 17:20
nice one
