Thank's "vaaish" .

Ah. If you want to run AI with do factions, you need to use the AI mod for that. It's weird, but you need to subscribe to do factions but leave it disabled in the sr2 mod manager. Then activate AI for Do factions. Do factions will run in the background. The ship sets should be compatible with AI regardless of version.

Spoke to soon
Mr Said 17 Aug, 2019 @ 7:48am
Star Trek Ship set will.
Mr Said 17 Aug, 2019 @ 7:47am
But dolynick's DO. Factions don't.
Mr Said 17 Aug, 2019 @ 7:45am
Yes DO F work's
Mr Said 17 Aug, 2019 @ 7:42am
I just realized you have more then one.(don't know why I didn't see this). I believe 2.5.5 removed tabar. as. But I now see the one i want. The one for DO F.
vaaish  [author] 17 Aug, 2019 @ 5:38am
It should be working then. I don't have enough info to tell you what might have happened. Try unsubscribing and re subscribing.

vaaish  [author] 16 Aug, 2019 @ 9:22pm
I just started a new game as Terrakin with that version and it seems fine. What mods are you using?
Mr Said 16 Aug, 2019 @ 8:18pm
Hi, Version: 2.0.3 (r 5101, I did a Validate before I started playing Star Ruler Last week. And thank's for your quick follow-up.
vaaish  [author] 16 Aug, 2019 @ 7:58pm
What version are you using? It should be fine under the last official version. I haven't tried with the open source version or community patch.
Mr Said 16 Aug, 2019 @ 6:27pm
Doesn't work with the latest version, that's what it saying.
vaaish  [author] 1 Jul, 2017 @ 8:17am
You're quite welcome; glad you like it!
Malaxes 1 Jul, 2017 @ 2:23am
Clean interface; amazing how subtle additions like this can supplement the immersion so well. Thanks
vaaish  [author] 12 Feb, 2017 @ 9:41pm
At the moment there isn't a way to do that. I've got an internal version of AI that I've set up to be compatible, but I'm not ready to release it quite yet.
DividedSpleen23 12 Feb, 2017 @ 8:25am
So I tiried installing this and dolynick's Faction Add On but apparently they conflict with one another. Is there a way to make these two mods work together?
vaaish  [author] 1 Sep, 2016 @ 10:20am
I've placed both versions, AI and AIRS, up on Moddb for those non-Steam users:

You're welcome!
Apsalar 23 Aug, 2016 @ 7:16pm
very clean, thank you!
vaaish  [author] 23 Jul, 2016 @ 9:41pm
I've released a new version of AI that's compatible with ABEM/Rising Stars.
You can find it here
vaaish  [author] 18 May, 2016 @ 11:15am
Thanks! Before the expansion I had a flag on AI that made it dependent on ABEM so they'd both run together but that was more of a hack. Eventually it should be playable with ABEM once Dalo has out a stable build. I'll have to see what all conflicts and how to resolve the conflicts before I can put up a version.
Tchey 18 May, 2016 @ 11:10am
Thanks, it works. Only rant is my current game is using the vanilla UI, but new games do load you UI. Nice job. Would it be playable with ABEM too ("reborn version" should be released end of this week) ?
vaaish  [author] 18 May, 2016 @ 9:54am
Sure... You should be able to download this link (it's the latest) and unzip it to your mods folder.

Hello,

I have the game on GoG for Linux, is there a way to get this mod ?

Thanks
vaaish  [author] 14 May, 2016 @ 5:43pm
Thanks! I'm glad you like it!
Kaiji 14 May, 2016 @ 4:46pm
This is an excellent UI. Thanks for putting it together and maintaining it.
vaaish  [author] 9 May, 2016 @ 9:54am
Actually... you could delete the entire traits folder from AI... all it changes are the icons you see in the new game scree for each of the custom race options. You won't lose really anything by deleting it.
vaaish  [author] 9 May, 2016 @ 9:52am
Unforunately this is the problem we run into. I wish there were some way I could hook in the graphics changes without affecting the rest of the scripts and data files so AI would be compatible with other mods.
vaaish  [author] 9 May, 2016 @ 9:50am
Thanks! If you want, you can delete the FTL files in the AI. All they do is change a color and replace the icons for the sublight and hyperdrive. You could probably leave Random though since I don't think it would conflict with anything.
dolynick 9 May, 2016 @ 9:15am
This is looking really nice now vaaish.

I was hoping to give it a go but it conflicts with DOF on the empires and a couple FTL files :(
Not using DOF isn't really an option since I need to playtest and develop. My only option would be to integrate it... :/
vaaish  [author] 9 May, 2016 @ 7:46am
@Lyndon: No problem, I hope you enjoy it!

@Lord Admiral: Thanks! I'm surprised as well. Steam gives me the actual stats for rating on the back end and I've only received one negative rating on the mod but that's enough to drop it I guess.
lyndonguitar 9 May, 2016 @ 12:39am
Thanks vaaish for the upload
Lord Admiral Daniel Phillips 9 May, 2016 @ 12:34am
Really surprised this has a score as low as it does. It's a really nice interpretation of the UI.

lyndonguitar 7 May, 2016 @ 3:14am
Can you upload a 1.0.3 version? I can't continue my pre-WOTH save because I use this mod and it automatically updated to the woth version :((((
vaaish  [author] 4 May, 2016 @ 10:47am
Sorry, :( You could poke GoG and ask when they will push out the 2.0.1 (r5084) patch for SR2. That's the version steam is running right now. When that's up and going you should be fine even if you don't have the DLC.
Dalo Lorn 4 May, 2016 @ 10:39am
Yeah, getting DRM-free games like SR2 is probably better done through Steam...
xXSunSlayerXx 4 May, 2016 @ 10:38am
yeah, the patch isn't out yet on GoG (as is the FRIGGIN DLC :steamsalty:). tried, removing the script file, but it just starts throwing errors in other script files. i think i'll just try again when GoG is up to date (so around christmas, i guess :steambored:)
vaaish  [author] 4 May, 2016 @ 10:30am
I totally forgot GoG hadn't gotten the update. We're up to 2.0.1 for Steam so check that you have that. However, you can delete tabs tabbar.as I think. All I did is make it so the tabs didn't scrunch up.
xXSunSlayerXx 4 May, 2016 @ 10:15am
hmm, i get in the main menu just fine, but going into a match or the designer results in :
"04 May 2016 19:11:01
Script Exception: Unbound function called
D:\GOG Games\Star Ruler 2\mods\cleanInterface\scripts\gui\tabs\tabbar.as
tabs.tabbar::void init() | Line 824 | Col 2"

does this maybe have something to do with the GoG version still being on 2.0.0, or is the zip missing something?
xXSunSlayerXx 4 May, 2016 @ 10:05am
thanks! can't upvote without owning the game here, though...
vaaish  [author] 4 May, 2016 @ 10:01am
Sure:
www.twolandscreative.com/wip/docs/AlternativeInterface2.4.6c.zip

Just unzip this to your mods folder. I can't promise regular updates to it though.
xXSunSlayerXx 4 May, 2016 @ 8:56am
is there a chance to get this mod from somewhere other than the workshop? (GoG version)
vaaish  [author] 4 May, 2016 @ 8:47am
Awesome! I hope you enjoy AI!
Imperial Genesis 4 May, 2016 @ 8:46am
Perfect, that did the trick!
vaaish  [author] 4 May, 2016 @ 8:42am
You're welcome.

I double checked and the case matches with the filename for the empire.png. Maybe try uninstalling the mod and reinstalling it in case something didn't update properly?
Imperial Genesis 4 May, 2016 @ 7:36am
Thank you very much! You're the best!

The poor icon is now working, however the empire one is still a white box in my case. Maybe there is a reference which is linked to 'empire' instead of 'Empire' ?
vaaish  [author] 4 May, 2016 @ 7:04am
Dalo's right. I'll push out an update here shortly. Thanks!
Dalo Lorn 4 May, 2016 @ 12:57am
Imperial: Are you using Linux? I think vaaish may have forgotten that Linux is case-sensitive...
