Can you please tell me what road you used? Do not currently find one that fits as nicely as in your pictures....
Large water pumping station: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=602215966
Large water pumping station 2: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1966014829
Medium water pumping station: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=600264000
Small water pumping station: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=580166697
My confusion about ratios earlier was because I thought modular meant from a game mechanics standpoint. As in building a multi-stage facility to create a balanced system from a game mechanics point of view, with each stage plumbed into the next, before the facility as a whole would work.
I think I've got it now. Mechanically, the sewage assets function stand-alone to just turn sewage into garbage independent of the others, and the biogas building is a sotra re-skinned incineration plant.
It's unfortunate that there is no mod that allows to assign service buildings to certain districts. I'd like to assign your Small biogas facility to service only Mariagerfjord Rensningsanlæg ;)
I've found one (Geli-Districts v3.0, https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=927293560) , but it doesn't have an option like "If districts assigned then service only them, otherwise service the coverage area). If you know one, can you share a link, please?
Thanks for the response!
Yes, that is the plan, but I have no idea when I'll get around to doing that. My plan is for the animations to use the mod by boformer, since it gives me more control and doesn't rely on wind speed to rotate. :)
Your large water pumping station and the vanilla water tanks fit nicely too.
Build it myself and it looks good https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1910473341
Also sometimes when I open the water info panel some buildings are not glowing greenish (indicating that they work, they are connected like you suggested), but they actually do work.
Noticed that you updated some buildings. Do you have any plans on animating the rotating bridges on the clarifier and the sludge process tank sometime?

@Enma: The Sedimentation Tanks shouldn't be mentioned anywhere - I'll fix that. It was the old incorrect name for the activated sludge process tank. As for the numbers, are we talking draining capacity? I'll double check the stats are correct, but keep in mind that increasing/decreasing the budget for water/sewage will affect these.
I placed a couple of clarifiers and a couple of sludge tanks (all connected to the pipe network and powered) and removed my vanilla riverside sewage pump - the sewage capacity was at the far end of green, clearly enough to cope with my small town's amount of sewage. However, the town reacted like nothing was being pumped out and became sick.
Do you need at least one of each asset before they work? Does it matter where they are placed? I have read the description above and of each asset, but may have missed something.
Any help greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
I love this idea to avoid putting sewage straight into the water, but can you explain how to set things up? In one city I tried, a simple clarifier was working straight off as a sewage solution, and then in the next one I tried, it was pumping the sewage back into the water supply... Do the water pipes have to be connected in a certain order?
(1) Several of the modules mention Sedimentation Tanks. I don't see these in the asset collection nor in Find It. Did something change names?
(2) Looking at the numbers, I'm coming up with this for a balanced system:
7 x -- Grit and Screen Facilities (48k each)
1 x -- Aeration Basin (297.6k each)
3 x -- Clarifier (112k each)
2 x -- Activated Sludge Process Tank (172k each)
2 x -- Small Biogas Facility (based on description)
This doesn't seem to match what I'm seeing in the screenshots, so I'm wondering if I'm missing something.
I was so disappointed in the ingame options to filter the water.
Just horrible! So these are really welcome :)
Thanks also for the picture, now I know how it looks for real. Unless I miss my guess, that's farmland around the complex... Thank God for pasteurization.
