@Zergplex: It's the industrial fence that comes with the game
AnxiousDoe 18 Jan, 2022 @ 4:45pm
Amazing work. Is the fence you used in these assets available anywhere? Fencing the area in with mismatched fences is driving me crazy.

@Sparks805: I don't take requests sorry. Not enough time to make my own ideas, so I'd never get around to finishing requests I'm afraid.
Sparks805 27 Nov, 2021 @ 3:33pm
Very nice collection. Could you please consider building a K-12 modular kit for schools?
Avanya  [author] 5 Nov, 2021 @ 1:11am
I've used a mix of the Tiny Road from Network Extensions 2, the concrete road from Network Extensions 2 and then Urbanist's Suburban Street Alternate:

@Avanya, Very nice work!
Can you please tell me what road you used? Do not currently find one that fits as nicely as in your pictures....
Avanya  [author] 14 Jan, 2021 @ 9:29am
@ewaryst: Sounds like a mod messing with things, or something as simple as a water tower or pump in an area with pollution. They're easy to miss, even as long time players, especially since pollution spreads slowly, so an area might have been safe when the water asset was originally placed.

So suddenly something in the sewage system got bugged and my entire city got sick and died out, it resulted in a quite a morbid scenario depicting what happens if the city sewage system fails completely.

Thank you for the kind words! It's always great to hear my stuff is useful! ^^

When a coworker/friend and I were discussing sewage problems in-game, I did a quick search and this mod group popped up. Moment I mentioned your name, he gave you props as he's got several of your warehouse. When I told him about this Mod, he gave you more mad props. This is a masterpiece piece of work. Thank you!

This is fantastic, I wanted something to replace the comic default sewage treatment and this does the job perfectly, very realistic! Thanks!

Thank you so much! <3 Always nice to know it's useful to others and not just me. :steamhappy:

Just browsing through all your stuff, amazing work dude!

@Avanya: Cheers! Gotcha
Avanya  [author] 16 Apr, 2020 @ 4:59am
@Marinus Tau: I used to have them set to that, but it comes with the downside that the ground below has to not be polluted. Otherwise you poison your citizens. In the end I changed them since it felt more realistic to allow them in industrial areas than have the water they produce. I have a few water assets though, which might interest you.

I love these models! I just wish they could also function as a source of fresh water? I am not sure how one could balance that though
BrassGrass 20 Mar, 2020 @ 11:13am
looks cool, im gonna try it out!

Thank you for the collection! The vanilla water treatment options are absurd
Netto81 24 Feb, 2020 @ 9:13am
@avanya, grateful for the explanation. I will try to build my station this way.
dacity3000 21 Feb, 2020 @ 6:26am
Pretty good~ thank you
Avanya  [author] 14 Feb, 2020 @ 5:36am
@Enma: No worries! ^^ You've got it right as for how they work. And feel free to ask if any other questions about these pop up. :)
Enma 13 Feb, 2020 @ 11:47pm
@Avanya -- Sorry for my late reply. I had my notifications disabled on the thread too.

My confusion about ratios earlier was because I thought modular meant from a game mechanics standpoint. As in building a multi-stage facility to create a balanced system from a game mechanics point of view, with each stage plumbed into the next, before the facility as a whole would work.

I think I've got it now. Mechanically, the sewage assets function stand-alone to just turn sewage into garbage independent of the others, and the biogas building is a sotra re-skinned incineration plant.
Captainklums 9 Feb, 2020 @ 4:25am
Very nice job. And that's for all of your assets. I intend to use lots of them. Thank you
Makk 28 Jan, 2020 @ 9:51pm
really love your assets.
RoAnnon 24 Dec, 2019 @ 12:28pm
When I found your sewage plant assets, I immediately subbed them. I worked for a Civil Engineer for over 13 years designing such plants. Really love having it in my city.
Americvna Trudck Simulkator 21 Dec, 2019 @ 4:30pm
Sewage treatment assets that actually work and look good? Finally!
Avanya  [author] 17 Dec, 2019 @ 8:33am
@Pônei Maldito: It should go through the grit and screen facility first, then into the clarifiers and then activated sludge process tanks if I remember correctly. The facility I look into doesn't have an aeration basin, so not sure where that would come in.
Netto81 17 Dec, 2019 @ 5:09am
Very good! Just would like to understand in what order I install the buildings. I mean, what is the correct sequence to get even more realistic?
Avanya  [author] 13 Dec, 2019 @ 1:43am
@Spirit: It's for the little park in the bottom. I always include the props and trees used in buildings when making a collection. You can skip the bush if you don't want it, and if you're not using the little park, then there's no reason to get it at all. :)
Spirit 13 Dec, 2019 @ 12:09am
i´m surprised that a simple bush is part of this set
Avanya  [author] 24 Nov, 2019 @ 5:11am
@Falcon5f: I have never really tried any of those mods. They often don't play nice with other mods that affect the AI, like Traffic Manager, plus they are sensitive to patch updates. It would be nice if services considered distance when dispatching. That would automatically make the biogas facility pick up garbage from the sewage buildings. But sadly that's not a thing. :/
NoctisFalco 23 Nov, 2019 @ 6:33pm
Great! Looking forward to it.

It's unfortunate that there is no mod that allows to assign service buildings to certain districts. I'd like to assign your Small biogas facility to service only Mariagerfjord Rensningsanlæg ;)
I've found one (Geli-Districts v3.0, https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=927293560) , but it doesn't have an option like "If districts assigned then service only them, otherwise service the coverage area). If you know one, can you share a link, please?

Thanks for the response!
Avanya  [author] 10 Nov, 2019 @ 3:31pm
@Falcon5f: Thank you! Always nice to hear my stuff is useful to others! ^^

Yes, that is the plan, but I have no idea when I'll get around to doing that. My plan is for the animations to use the mod by boformer, since it gives me more control and doesn't rely on wind speed to rotate. :)
NoctisFalco 10 Nov, 2019 @ 1:27pm
Thank you very much for this great collection!
Your large water pumping station and the vanilla water tanks fit nicely too.
Build it myself and it looks good https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1910473341

Also sometimes when I open the water info panel some buildings are not glowing greenish (indicating that they work, they are connected like you suggested), but they actually do work.

Noticed that you updated some buildings. Do you have any plans on animating the rotating bridges on the clarifier and the sludge process tank sometime?
Have Faith 8 Oct, 2019 @ 6:34pm
These looks so great!
Avanya  [author] 8 Oct, 2019 @ 2:06pm
For anyone having issues connecting them or getting them to work, here's a picture to show how to best connect them to your city.

Hmm, I have somehow managed to turn off notifications for this collections. :/

@Enma: The Sedimentation Tanks shouldn't be mentioned anywhere - I'll fix that. It was the old incorrect name for the activated sludge process tank. As for the numbers, are we talking draining capacity? I'll double check the stats are correct, but keep in mind that increasing/decreasing the budget for water/sewage will affect these.
JEmbers87 9 Sep, 2019 @ 6:03am
I really love the look of these assets but wanted to ask a question - bit of a newb to workshop assets. Do you need to place all of them to make them work and start draining sewage?

I placed a couple of clarifiers and a couple of sludge tanks (all connected to the pipe network and powered) and removed my vanilla riverside sewage pump - the sewage capacity was at the far end of green, clearly enough to cope with my small town's amount of sewage. However, the town reacted like nothing was being pumped out and became sick.

Do you need at least one of each asset before they work? Does it matter where they are placed? I have read the description above and of each asset, but may have missed something.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

i love your work so much. I saw your video and i was so impressed. I am a 62 year old female OG city builder. I started playing SimCity 2000 and I have played every release up to SimCity 2013. I was a beta tester for that last disappointing edition so I was thrilled to find Cities Skylines and then you. Keep up the excellent work.
Toast 31 May, 2019 @ 5:28am
Hi,
I love this idea to avoid putting sewage straight into the water, but can you explain how to set things up? In one city I tried, a simple clarifier was working straight off as a sewage solution, and then in the next one I tried, it was pumping the sewage back into the water supply... Do the water pipes have to be connected in a certain order?
Enma 26 Apr, 2019 @ 2:45pm
I'm just getting started. Would anyone mind confirming my understanding?

(1) Several of the modules mention Sedimentation Tanks. I don't see these in the asset collection nor in Find It. Did something change names?

(2) Looking at the numbers, I'm coming up with this for a balanced system:

7 x -- Grit and Screen Facilities (48k each)
1 x -- Aeration Basin (297.6k each)
3 x -- Clarifier (112k each)
2 x -- Activated Sludge Process Tank (172k each)
2 x -- Small Biogas Facility (based on description)

This doesn't seem to match what I'm seeing in the screenshots, so I'm wondering if I'm missing something.

all of them is very good,i enjoy it and it is beautiful, thanks,hh,

Tak for disse :)
I was so disappointed in the ingame options to filter the water.
Just horrible! So these are really welcome :)
PotatoadZ 16 Apr, 2019 @ 4:49pm
@Prof.Darkness because it's not one mod, its ALL the sewage mods.
darkness 23 Mar, 2019 @ 1:25pm
Is there any particular reason why I cannot subscribe to this mod?
FullRefund 19 Mar, 2019 @ 7:49am
Just wanted to say that this is my all time favourite asset (well collection of them). I start every new city by placing these.

Thanks also for the picture, now I know how it looks for real. Unless I miss my guess, that's farmland around the complex... Thank God for pasteurization.
Stitch K 11 Mar, 2019 @ 11:17pm
These are amazing. Thank you @Avanya.
