So that mean's I don't have to do anything in Blender? Blender for me is really one big piece of shite. :/

The rig root was acting like a pelvis bone, so I parented the hands to the root, but after I did that the elbows would still move when I moved the rig root, so I parented the elbows to the root as well, and that fixed the problem, but now there's a new problem; whenever I move the hands, the elbows move properly but their controller is left where the elbows had started and don't move with the elbows. I tried a few different things and I have no idea how to fix it.

adjust the x,y,z select your models root and look at the transform gimbal you should see 3 colored arrows; red =' x', blue = 'z' and green ='y'. where each arrow is pointing is its positive direction. based on which direction your models knee/elbows are facing adjust the value in the window so its in front of it

Whenever i apply the rig it rotates the legs weirdly how do i fix it

how to i set it up so that the rig root actually moves the model around, for some reason it moves but the model doesn't

it is just add this line, without the quotes, " self.bonenum.setMaximum(999) " at line 2305. you can use a code editor like notepad++

This thing is so restrictive. I need to select spine0 so I can rig the pelvis but for some reason it's giving me a bone that doesnt exist. It has pelvis, spine0, spine1, neck and head. But for some reason it has spine1 and spine2 and there isnt even a spine2 on the model!

Can this work with Strider from HL2? His skeleton is very different from other creatures, i don't know how to make a rig for him. Because I need 3 leg bones, not 2.

I found a bug that occurs when you delete two entries of "other bones", creating a new entry after that will cause it to overlap with the bottom entry. I can recreate the issue pretty easy, happened twice while I was setting up a model.

A work around is saving your progress and loading the script up again.

How do I make an independent hip bone for my model? Like, to have the hips move independently of the pelvis IK rig, for hip adjustments.

How do I set up the offset so that the elbows and knees don't bend awkwardly? I'm making a rig for a humanoid form with 4 arms.

When making the limbs part, some models have a second bone in the hand, and the script ends up using that bone instead of the right one, and the arms can't be moved

if there are more than 3 bones in the leg, sfm cant rig it. you would need to cheat a bit and make the ankle the foot and have the foot act like a toe.

sfm can only rig limbs that only have three bones in them. so theres no real way to rig a long chain limb in sfm.

Thanks for answering. I have one more question. I managed to assemble rig on the spider model. But he has 6 bones in simble. And it turns out that the limbs interact with the body (if you move only half). Is there a way to manipulate the entire limb in rig?
